I still think.how vastly better the Raiders might have been had not Crazy Al's halfwit son not inherited the team and fired him for some 14 year old clueless new Raider one year wonder HC.

Jackson woud be a terrific choice.

I'm told former Eagles OC Marty Mornhinwig is on Jets' OC list. I believe he's interviewing as early as today. #nyj

Ok, I usually am very optimistic but interviewing the guy that went 5-27 as the lions head coach for our OC position strikes me as retarded.

  6. But he's not coming here as a Head coach...he'd be coming as an offensive coordinator. He's got a great reputation league wide. He's just not meant to be an HC.

RT @AlbertBreer Carolina requested permission to interview Hue Jackson about OC opening. Jets have also expressed interest in Jackson.

    This would be awesome!!

If a guy was a good head coach then he wouldn't be interviewing for OC positions. Not the point. His offenses have traditionally been very good.

I said since our season was over that the Jets OC would be Hue Jackson...good to finally see some fruition come to hold. However the Panthers going after Jackson is somewhat scary.

We need either Whisenhunt(Let the GM and his team get the QB) or Jackson(Prefer Hue) at this point IMO.

Hue Jackson has ties to USC.....hence why Jackson was so hellbent on getting Carson Palmer(Along with trying to make a run to save his job) and of course Sanchez is from USC.........

Newton is far more gifted but Newton's a ticking time bomb....its a matter of if Jackson wants to get involved and think he can set Newton straight. Jets may offer Jackson a chance to get his own QB in the draft a year or two down the road.

Jets better make a move before the Panthers steal Wolverine.

I'm sure your right, I usually research stuff before I comment about it but that was my initial reaction to him as I remember him being a horrible HC.

The JETS should pick up Mike Mularkey as the new OC. He did a great job as OC in Pittsburgh and in Atlanta, too bad he was fired only one year into the job at Jacksonville without MJD in the backfield.

Yes but about 2 days after that I saw a report that was allegedly quoted directly from Norv stating he would not consider the Jets.

I'll look for it. It was an article I was reading the other day, possibly ESPN, and it was supposedly a quote directly from Norv. I'll see if I can find it.

Marty Morningweig, lol! Good luck with him. He needs a QB, two real receivers, a pass catching RB, and a TE with good hands to make his style of play work. He couldn't call plays with LeSean McCoy, Deshawn Jackson, Jeremy Maclin, and Brent Celek. And as bad as Vick was, Sanchez is worse.

hopefully Hue Jackson is on board soon

Isn't Morningwig the head coach whose pants came apart during a game during his illustrious career as the Lions' Head Coach?

Bad as that doofus is (as proven by his great job with the Eagles) he still would be better than Norval who would be the worst possible choice

Paul Hackett would be better than Norv
