That's entirely possible. Chris Chambers is no Randy Moss, and Daunte Culpepper and his new knee, soldered on with velcro from an old pair of 'Roos, will not make for the mobile Daunte the league is used to. -X-
But remember, Charlie Batch is the Steelers QB, with Willie "20 1 yard carries before maybe a 70 yard TD" Parker in the backfield. It's going to be on the Steelers D to win this game, I don't know if they're up to the task week 1.
Go Steelers!! I can't b elieve it. The season is Here!! I'll be sitting in the meadowlands watching football in just a little more than a week! woohoo
First Miami at Pittsburgh game since 1994. Steelers won that one 16-13. I expect a similar score tonight.
As sad as it is to say, I agree completely, both on the step back, and the fins win tonight. Batch is a nice guy, but as a QB with a gimpy Ward, it's just not going to happen.
BTW, I can't believe how lucky Miami is ... they get what seems to be a brutal opener, @ Pittsburgh on the thursday nite season kickoff classic, verses the defending champs ... and then they get them without BIG BEN
