Getting away from the Rex/Mark/media/GM stuff, I'm curious: What are your superstitions when watching a Jets game?

For me this season, I tried not to go on here during the weekends. I also tried to wear the same clothing week in and week out until we lost in them. So far, it hasn't worked.

But I do ask, if we win on week 1, wear the same thing you wore for the next 15 weeks:wink:

This goes for me and most of my teams. If I look away from the screen the other team will have a huge play or score.

Cant wear any team gear unless Im at the game.

No one can come into my room unless its during a commercial or half time and they have to leave before the next play is snapped

I watch sans pants and only take a drink during an incomplete pass

If they're winning, stay in the same spot, don't check phone if phone wasn't checked, keep on doing what I'm doing.

If they're losing, move positions around. Go outside during halftime, etc.

Wear the same combo of clothing if they win (washed).

If they are winning, try to watch with the same people.

Opposite color jersey of the team. A white Martin when they wear green and a green mangold when they wear white. Also chili, I must eat chili.

I don't have any superstitions - the Jets have shown me over and over again that no matter what I do, it doesn't matter....

I have this 80's style Jets mini helmet that i put my hand on if it's 3rd down or we are about to kick a meaningful field goal. Then i have this wooden Jets football that i put inside the Jets helmet when something important is about to happen. lol dont ask............... Another stupid thing I do is wear a certain shirt. If i wore the shirt and we won i wear it the next week and on and on. If we lose i blame the shirt lol wtf is wrong with me

I've lost all belief in superstitions with this team; anything I used to do now fails to work. It's not on me, it's all on them as failures to play well.

Although I haven't used it in two years now, my "win and we're in" towel from the 2009 last regular season game against the bengals is laid out on the floor in front of my TV and kissed by all viewers in the room prior to any playoff games.

I had this great idea in '10 to drink sam adams during the ne playoff game... i would drink what they made that was good and pss it away. worked for ne.

Bad thing was it came to pittsburgh the next week... unfortunately pittsburgh has no good beer to offer... really not much of anything good to offer for that matter. So my theory backfired when I ended up drinking iron city beer that was already pss. joke was on me.

    sorry Jets fans.
