Baloney......get a new QB Coach, a new OC, and they'll win some games early and it'll be OK. The hatred for Sanchez escapes me....Richard Todd after 1980 (30 ints) and 5 years in the league didn't inspire this much hatred.
This article is ridiculous, he is just stirring the pot a little trying to brew some controversy! Lulu a even said that Sanchez led us to a victory in New England! He doesn't watch football does he? Sanchez was along for the ride, and now that he has to lead he sucks!
I wouldn't go that far. He's been sarcastic and condescending towards them for 30 years. I never got the vibe that he is a fan, or that he's pulling for them for any other reason than because it would sell papers.
This is also my opinion on Sanchez. They need to bring in legitimate competition for Sanchez and if he beats that competition out then so be it. He'll have one more year to change everyone's mind. Either way you slice it though, the offense needs to be upgraded.this is going to show what kind of a GM we have. With the salary cap being what it is the new GM is going to have to prove what kind of a talent evaluator he really is and find some lower tier FAs that can overachieve. I'm hoping that we bring back Braylon, get a healthy Holmes back, an improved Hill and an even better Kearly. I say let Keller walk and go after a TE in the draft and/or FA. Add to that a decent FA RB and suddenly our offensive weapons aren't that bad.
Sanchez is not Wilson, RG3 or Luck. Anyone who watches those first two Seasons knows that. Sanchez was carried by a great team. Sanchez at his best is Dilfer. At his worst he is JaMarcus Russell.
Agreed. He is not a Giants fan, per se. He likes to make sweeping generalizations, and usually he's the last one to realize it, but he acts like he just discoverd fire. Lupica and many others are just fulfilling their own narrative that the Jets are classless, and by comparison, look how classy the Giants are. He does hate the Jets and likes to stick it to them. However, watch how fast he jumps on the bandwagon if the Jets have a good season next year.
He's pulling the Jets' chain. I have a question for Lupica: what was "Theo" the Daily News photographer doing at a resort in the Bahamas in the first place? Was 'Theo' coincidentally vacationing at a resort that Ryan & his wife happened to be staying at? Or, did the Daily News put him on a plane with explicit instructions to follow Ryan and his wife around? If it's the latter, Theo and his editor at the News ought to be called on it.
The correct word is deceived not sold & most fans cause they judge the NYJs wioth their heart & not there head are taken in by it year after year
As a Jets fan I think Rex should be called for being on vacation in the Bahama's instead of preparing his team to face the Ravens or Texans in a home playoff game.
