1/5/13: 4:30 PM Cincinnati Bengals (6) @ Houston Texans (3) 8:00 PM Minnesota Vikings (6) @ Green Bay Packers (3) 1/6/13: 1:00 PM Indianapolis Colts (5) @ Baltimore Ravens (4) 4:30 PM Seattle Seahawks (5) @ Washington Redskins (4) I started this mostly because of this: Chris Burke @ChrisBurke_SI RT @StribDW: Have been told it is "looking more likely" Joe Webb will start tonight. Still no final word. But Vikings much closer to Plan B.
Joe Webb...wtf, Id be pissed if Ponder was healthy. Anyway who you guys cheering for? I kinda want the Texans to win so they got Foxborough and pull a 2010 Jets. But if they lose, then Id want the Ravens in Foxborough and send the Bengals to Denver so Denver hosts the championships. I want the Pats road to be as difficult as possible.
Anyway this Texans-Bengals is A LOT more interesting than last year, immense pressure on both team, last year neither team had any pressure. Whoever loses this game will be on the hot seat and possibly fired.
Bursitis in throwing elbow whatever that means for Ponder http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...onder-dealing-with-bursitis-in-throwing-elbow Just rooting for close games this weekend. I'll probably do the root for the team losing to make a comeback thing. I really hope MIN/GB can live up to what happened last weekend. That was a crazy game to watch
According to Bob Costas, Joe Webb has not throwing a single pass all season but strategy for Vikings will probably not change much, as it will be give AP the ball and have QB manage the game. Will know more about Ponder's status (currently questionable) once they arrive at stadium
I may be bias but there is no team I fear playing this weekend. You can take pride in that 2010 playoff victory because it will not be repeated ever again, not in the BB & TB era. Patriots are going to Denver.
Not gunna lie, I am kinda hoping for Denver-Patriots. But I wouldnt mind the Patriots falling or winning a close game in the divisional round. I just dont wanna see a blowout like last season, I wanna see a struggle. So hopefully the Ravens.
I can only see Cincy giving you trouble, but Cincy can't be sent to NE as the low seed so that doesn't matter. If Baltimore gets sent to NE, that's another you never know just because they always get up to play you guys recently.
Baltimore destroyed the Giants, I think that game is the true Ravens. Time will tell, a lot of people dont expect much from them though.
This is shaping up to be pretty exciting. This first game should be great, and I really hope Webb starts tonight.
To be honest, I feel better about this year than some of the previous years as a Pats fans. In earlier years Pats were the #1 seed and was #1 in the AFC power polls and everyone expected them to win. This year, no one expects NE to win in Denver, kind of similar to 2004 when the Pats went to Pitts for the AFC championship and no one gave them a chance.
First offensive snap, NBC camera gets fooled following Foster on PA pass. Schaubb scrambles for 1 yard
Seems Webb is the likely starter now. Packers are now favored by 10. Maycock says the Texans don't like being in 3rd and 12 situations
