    Yeah with news the Dacosta is staying in Baltimore, the three guys look to be pretty good evaluators of talent, with Caldwell specializing in what we need. Offense! He also specializes in finding west coast guys, which is what the Seahawks have done with Sherman, Carpenter, Unger, and all those guys

    I want him because he's young and energetic similar to how Indy hired Ryan Grigson last year, Davis Caldwell was their 2nd choice, and he just took the organization by storm

    With so many jobs open, they have to move fast. Good to see. Does Rex get to pick his own staff? If not who are they loyal to? This really is a no win situation for him.

    Some guys might not be bothered by keeping Rex for 1 year. The new GM will have a 5 year deal. You have to give the new guy 5 years to purge the roster and then build it back up. Rex has 2 years remaining on his contract. Usually the GM gets to pick his coach. He might have to wait a year. Its not an ideal situation but the GM will have a longer contract than Rex.

    Caldwell is a Polian and Dimitroff guy. Dimitroff is a Belichick guy. Browns. Pats. He rebuilt the Falcons after the Vick and Petrino fiascos.
