If you want it I'd suggest buying it fast, now that it hit a major news outlet the NFl will be suing the shit out of them for copyright infringement.

Seems like a random shirt to have for playing a team once every 4 years

That's what I was thinking. Especially since he went to the U it seems like he would still have love for the area. Unless there was some bad blood I'm not aware of.

BB, maybe not bad blood, especially since both the Canes & Dolphins haven't done much recently (lousy attendance for both shows), but love for the Miami area didn't always include love for the Dolphins in Hurricane circles.

    *sidebar 'Cane shilling*
There was always a quasi-friendly "we own this town!" rivalry between the two .... this in a town of fickle, bandwagon-jumping "football fans." And historically, back in the day there was a time of pretty strong resentment in Hurricane circles during the 70's once Shula took over the Dolphins, taking the 'Canes off the back sports page and close to dropping their football program altogether (like UM had done with the b-ball program in the 60's).

Fortunately Howard Schnellenberger (who ironically was a former Dolphin OC under Shula) took over as the Cane's HC, and things changed. He kept the local HS talent in South Florida (huge) and won a national title. "Jimmy Jump Up" took over and it was the Dolphins who were the 'other team' in town. That continued through the real 'sleeze' period under Dennis Erickson (much more out-of-control than under Johnson). Nowadays?...the historic OB is gone, the "home field" is 20 miles north away from campus and literally a stone's throw from the Broward Co. line (nice job, Donna Shalala...and F.U. Miami Marlins) and as for the Dolphins nowadays?.....er, whatever...

Trivia about Coach Howard: he was the guy who recruited Joe Namath for the Bear at 'Bama.

    on-topic: Nice shirt.
About Frank Gore himself: nice THIRD round pick (Tanny?). Used to be that drafting a 'Cane star in the 1-3 rounds usually meant an NFL-ready player. Even today, UM only ranks behind USC with the most (current) guys playing in the NFL.
