Can you get me a link please. Where did they announce this. There was a link on ESPN reporting they STILL do not know who will start. Im surprised there are not many threads about the opening day game. If we can start off 1-0 and get a little momentum into the Home opener against NE, you just never know how the ball may bounce.
I hope they start Vince Young, simply because I want to see him play. I feel the Jets have pretty much an equal chance to beat any of their QBs, so why not check out the rookie? Whether Young runs for a 40 yard scamper or throws 3 picks in a half, at least it'll be interesting.
Tennessee Titans: Kerry Collins will open the regular season as the team's No. 1 quarterback, so consider him in the late rounds. ... Billy Volek wasn't impressive in the preseason and is now on the trade block, so avoid him in drafts. ... Travis Henry could open as the starter for head coach Jeff Fisher, but owners should expect a backfield committee on offense with Chris Brown and LenDale White also in the mix. http://www.nfl.com/fantasy/story/9632075 Collins.
He's just predicting. Gambling, whatever you wanna call it. Let's just say the odds are in Collins favor. Nothing has been offically announced.
Collins is almost the definite starter on Sunday. Young will probably not see any on-field action this year. It has been done pretty quietly, but I have seen a few ESPN quick stories that the Titans don't feel Young is anywhere near ready for the NFL. They still want to work on his release point, and they are not comfortable with his happy feet. Collins was brought in to get them through the year. I still think their biggest mistake was not keeping McNair.
 Im sorry but i need to disagree here. VY looked alot of things in preseason, but impressive was not one of those. Im sure with our defensive coaching staff, and with a solid game plan, all you need to do is contain him. Because the guy cannot read coverages yet. We'll get a few INTs in that game. And we'll probably give up a few too.
They were saying on one of the ESPN radio shows that the Titans wanted to put VY in for at least 1 series each half of every game this season.
:rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2: Wasn't jeff fischer on the hot seat last season? Why the hell would he do something like this?
He's been put in a pretty bad situation. The FO got rid of McNair on him and then drafted Young when he wanted Leinart. He's probably quite bitter.
