Without going superstar crazy and being realistic with the cap. I would love to see Mike Hass come to us. Another tough little guy with dependable hands.
i agree rogers or calico... calico was a fantasy sleeper for the past two years... hes 6"4 220, bigger than i thought, but he has been plauged by injuries. in 27 career games he has 501 yds 4 tds...
I would love to bring in Fred Beasley too, he could help our running game immensly, great blocking FB. As Kris_15 said, though, he could have some problems with Barlow but maybe that is in the past.
Considering who is out there and the kind of season we're likely to have, I'd gamble on the upside of Rogers over going with a more veteran stopgap guy that might be more useful this year.
I'd also go with Rogers but based on his history it's not likely but I'd definately take a shot with Rob Petiti as I think he'd be an upgrade over Adrian Jones and I'd also bring in Dan Klecko who I think is better than Bobby Hamilton who according to KNBR was going to be cut anyway
i agree with tyrone calico i always thought he would be pretty good, great size, just injured a lot and unlucky with playing time
drop McCairens and pickup Rogers? What do you think? edit: better yet, trade mccairens for a pick and pickup rogers
so if the man produces 1 touchdown every 6 games can you please explain to me how hes been a sleeper the last 2 years in fantasy? do you get points for games missed in your league?
ummm. NO 4M cap hit this year or next... no thanks. Cut a bottom level guy if you want to try Rogers. Noone claimed Rogers, so he's a FA now.
Marcus Vick. We could line him up opposite Brad Smith and they could lateral the ball to each other all the way down the field. Sorry, boring night...
