Pittsburgh, Michigan, Purdue, Tennessee, Stanford. All of them were well ballanced teams. And your 2005 schedule was a breeze. Your record was horrible considering. Both teams have a tougher schedule this season. Let's go again.
Do my eyes decieve me or is ND ranked at #2? I can't read the bottom of that crappy ESPN bar so well. I'm surprised even that we'd start there. I would have guess #10 to #7.
Where've you been?! Kirk Herbstreit picks them for a National Championship. I think that's a tough one, but the GATech game should tell us a little about what ND's mindset. I'd be concerned that all their heads are getting a little big for their helmets. Samardzija pulling-in a multi-million dollar baseball deal. Zbikowski fighting professionally. Brady Quinn being dubbed the Heismann frontrunner. A lot going on in South Bend that ain't all necessarily football.
I hate checking all that stuff out before the season even begins. Yeah, I hate season openers. I'm always afraid my team will come out unprepared even though they outmatch a team in every way.
