season's over man, the NHL is going to feel this one for a long time I'm still keeping my Ranger's seasons but if I was one of the 7 fans in Dallas, it would be adios forever
how can the NHL and the players not realize that they may be jeopardizing this league forever? Gecko nailed it. NYR wil be fine. Bruins, Flyers, Habs and Leafs...sure. But the Stars and Jackets and Preds and coyotes and Ducks et al can easily become irrelevant and disappear forever. Ive been watching the Rangers for 32 years. And Im ust about at the point where I dont give two fucks anymore. Imagine some smack job from Tennessee who hasnt even been to his first game yet. How much money is he gonna spend on teh NHL???? ass clowns
obviously it was a joke that there was a lockout in the first place...the fact that it is still going on and it took mediators all of 2 days to realize their efforts would be fruitless......make this even more of a joke, a bad one, on us. I'm a huge Ranger fan, generally hockey is 2nd on the list after football.....and i'm sure my mind will probably change....but at this moment I almost want to see the league fail, altogether, fold up shop and be done.......honestly that's the direction it appears to be going. I'm a soccer fan too..and I know a lot of you joke around about the sport and such, but the MLS puts the NHL to shame at this point.
Im a soccer guy. PLayed soccer and hockey all my life. I cant get into the MLS but I was a HUGE Cosmo fan back in teh day. I cried I htink when teh old NASL folded up. This reminds me of that almosst
well the Cosmos are coming back in 2016 to Queens. Got into the Red Bulls that last few years, the talent on each team is picking up, new stadiums, great atmospheres, give it a chance. Eff the NHL!!
That explains it you headed the ball too many times! Actually I loved the Cosmos with Beckenbauer, Chimaglia and Pele...
http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/3837...isola-queens-is-the-ideal-location-for-an-mls pretty sure the stadium agreement is near......logic would point to the Cosmos who are now starting up in the NASL again. But I'll be an old man by the time that gets done. also, potentially Beckhamn's last game as a pro tomorrow.....granted the dude is overhyped, but it's a pretty big deal threadjacked....who cares, no hockey to talk about anyway, jokers!
