He doesn't have a balanced defense. The linebackers are old and slow and easy to exploit. In addition, they don't have anyone on the line that can get to the QB. So, they have no players that have the ability to pressure the QB. That's a player personnel issue and if Rex is heavily involved in that area, then he is to blame. Remember that in his 1st year, the Jets D improved dramatically from the previous season. Their players weren't great, but they didn't have huge weaknesses like they do now.
