Nice to see a bright spot on this team right now. When Revis is back, we could have the best duo in the league. Get a pass rush and things can look pretty scary for opposing offenses
great to see something good for a change, Cro should be Jets MVP this year at current performance levels, and should be in the Pro Bowl.
Or maybe Rex Ryan's defenses are just that good in terms of coverage schemes? I get that Revis is great and Cromartie is good but I see CB's come in here all the time and wind up in that top 10 completions against category and their names are like Drew Coleman and Donald Strickland and Lito Sheppard a year before he retired.
Glad to see him step up, probably should have come to that conclusion on his own... maybe Revis can have the same talk with Sanchez.
Pretty much. It's nice that we have Cro now that Revis went down but it was an unnecessary use of resources.
What would really be awesome and maybe helpful, is if Revis gave a speech to this team before the game tomorrow. It really is amazing what a a guy of his stature could do for a team. Especially hearing words from him before a huge game like this
I have no doubt he will be back to himself. Look at Peterson, who would have thought he would have healed the way he did. These guys are in the NFL, they will do everything and anything in their power to bring him back to 100% health. He'll be back
Hell, he's even making a documentary about his recovery. I highly doubt he thinks there's a possibility he won't be back if he's making a documentary. That would be one shitty video
Look fellows medically he is bound to have lost at the least a 1/4 of a step due to the injury, maybe even 1/2 or 3/4 & all of U who think he will be the DR of 2011 or before better stop smoking that funny stuff
I personally have gone through exactly what he has and came back 100%. It's all in the rehab man. If you put everything into your rehab, you can and will come back full speed. Again, look at AP. Has he lost a step?
Sorry disagree it is all in in exactly what was damaged in the injury. I have seen way, way, way to many of these injuries in which the injured player is NEVER the same after the injury as he was before the injury
Sorry, this must be wrong. Mevi$ is a me first glory boy who's going to hold out every year for the rest of his career, remember? I'd love to see the medical evidence that proves that he's lost "at least a 1/4 of a step." Why not 1/6, or 2/5?
Of every step, or just one? With every step, his new 40 time is going to either be 5.5 seconds, 6.6 seconds, or 7.7 seconds. Unless he's asked to cover Bart Scott, he'll probably need safety help with 7.7 speed.
i agree but AP is an odd case. His doctor said the condition of his knee ligaments given all the wear and tear were astonishing and they looked like he never played football....So it's not really a fair comparison. Who knows, maybe Revis has been blessed with the same type of ligaments but one just doesn't know.
Whatever U choose to use. We will C if he is still a NYJ in 2013 if the injury cost him any speed correct? Right now in the NFL he is damaged goods with zero trade value when this up coming off season begins
