I love this team more than anything. I always have some sort of "faith." But now.. I can't tell you i'm too high on this faith thing .

I don't have faith in the Jets, and I think the season is already lost, however, I am curious to see how the team reacts to this latest Tebow controversy. Will it galvanize the team and make them go out and prove that they can rise above the distractions? If they do, then perhaps people can see a light at the end of the tunnel and they don't need to completely rebuild the team. As it stands, they need to fire Rex, get rid of Sanchez, cut Tebow, and start fresh. Sanchez did come out looking like a leader by the way he commented on the players who bashed Tebow. We will see if it translates to the field this week against a beatable opponent.

FYI, I am starting the Rams defense against them in my fantasy football league. You all should be happy about that, because with my luck this season, Sanchez will probably throw for 5,731,837,901 yards, 6,842 TDs, and rush for 11,998,376 yards.

what about the jets tells you they are better than any of those 3 teams? i really dont get this sentiment...the jets are just as bad if not worse then all 3 of those teams.

After the way the jets played today I am certain they will crush the pats .if luck can have such success Sanchez will have better stats ov a rookie qb.

Until we're mathematically eliminated i'm gonna keep hope alive. A win in our next two games would be huge.

Yeah and Sanchez played better vs the Pats than Luck did. It means nothing. Things don't transition across teams in the NFL

Just take it 1 game at a time.

The jets can make a statement Thursday night against a team they should've beat a few weeks back. From left for dead at 3-6 Sunday morning to 5-6 with the momentum turned around in just 4 days. They got every opportunity to save this season Thursday night

That said if they were to finish 8-8 or so after all the turmoil and problems this season, injuries and shoddy qb play I could live with it and the fact that the team didn't quit

Oh shut the fuck up with this "how can you think we will win" bullshit. If you don't want the team to win, go root for the Pats or fucking Giants.

If you look AFC East that isn't happening but you look AFC --assume 9-7 gets a wild card
Indy 6-4 and may go 9-7 - Jets own tiebreaker
Cinci - 5-5 but they have to play Dallas, Pitt, and Balt still and we have a better conf record.
    Teams we still play:
Titans - Jets play head to head
SD - Jets play head to head
Buffalo - they will be out of hit by the last week so will be a must win if we are in the mix
Arizona - is a mess at QB
    Jags - mess at QB
Pats - they win the eat but with injuries they are vulnerable for the jets to steal one

If we can somehow pull out a win on Thanksgiving, we are right back in the thick of the AFC playoff race.

we've been here before. remember 2009? remember 2004? 2002? 2001? we had mid-season swoons in all of them. we can do this. if they can beat the patriots, there will be genuine enthusiasm followed by pundits telling everyone not to get excited about a team that's not even .500, followed by more wins, followed by a last regular season game win to get us in.
