Sorry but I'm blaming Sanchez... great QB's or even good ones don't shrink when there is another QB brought in to battle or push him. The guy has wilted like a dandelion after being sprayed with Round Up. The guy has completely regressed to the point he is one of the worst 2 or 3 starting QB's in the league. Outside of Gabbert and Cassell I can't think of anybody worse right now.

Have the Jets done a shitty job of putting players around him? Maybe with the OL but when you look around the leauge at how many QB's turn noname WR's into great players you can't use the "our WR's suck" line. We've seen what Greene can do behind a quality OL. The OL is an issue no doubt but it's compounded by the fact that Sanchez still plays like a rookie and has regressed.

Ever notice how we haven’t had a decent coach or coordinator since Vinnie’s good year? Ever notice how every OC has provided the same garbage week in and week out since Vinnie’s good year? Ever notice how bad Bill Bellichick was before Tom Brady? Ever notice how good Herm looked when he went to Chad, before he tore his labia for the first time and was worth nothing beyond that?

For 9 games in his life…Herm was brilliant. For 9 games in his life…Hackett was brilliant.

Get real guys…a good quarterback makes everyone look like they have the smarts. A shitty quarterback makes everyone look like the Jets do on any Sunday.

Totally agree. After Tanny I'd fire Sporano. His offense is just a steaming pile of crap.

bottom line is, tanny is the one calling the shots. the fact that there are that many choices of who should get the most blame is a direct reflection of the job tanny has done. how many positions have been upgraded since 2010?i'd say one,d.l. every other position has either downgraded or stayed static.he replaces good players with average players.average players with below average players.gambles on high risk high reward players and they have not panned out well for him.tanny put this team together and it is a failure. time to bring in a new g.m and let him sort out who stays and who goes. if that means rex goes so be it.

lol the blame on the offensive line when Sanchez is no where near the bottom of the league in pressured throws. Sanchez also can't read a defense to save his life.

Tanny. Tired of him and his garbage replies.

Even when we have a successful season this year, Mike Tannenbaum should still be fired for his terrible decision making skills and contract extensions.

It's him by leaps and bounds.

There is also something called the run game, and unblocked blitzers. The O line has underperformed expectations. Moore has age, Slauson has not improved, actually regressed a little. And Howard is a journeyman we could get by with if Moore wasn't struggling either

It has to be Tannenbaum. If Woody is calling shots over Tannenbaum then Woody. They gave an awful QB an awful contract. Surrounded that awful QB with an awful line and awful receivers. Made more awful draft picks then good ones and brought Tebow into this mess when it was already bad in the locker room last season. Bringing in Tebow was just the icing on the cake to show the incompetence of this franchise. If you bring him in have a plan on using him otherwise DON'T. The current situation is about as bad as anyone could've predicted going into this season. Honestly, what else could happen to make this situation even worse?

You know, I put this in another post. Is anyone as sick as I am hearing woody, Rex, tanne, and the players say " we are working hard and getting better" I mean, WTF! This isnt pop Warner. Do these idiots get it. They are paid millions of dollars to accomplish one task. One task. To WIN. That's it.
Losers say " we are getting better". I actually feel bad for Woody, as sad as that is, the guys is spending million and millions of dollars on a qb that has done this for4 years. 4 years of hearing " it's starts with the qb and I have to play better".

I just can't take it anymore. Are the jets serious. " we are getting better". I guess that should solve all the problems here fellows. Don't worry, the jets are getting better in practice! C'mon man!

It should be tanne and Rex with a little sanchez sprinkled in, but you know it will be Sparano.

    Tanne for drafting and talent
    Rex for sticking with Sanchez.
    Sanchez for being Sanchez

    In this order;

    Rex
    Sanchez
    Tanny
    Sparano

They all need to be canned at the end of this season for this team to go anywhere

Barry, do you blame a dog for crapping in the yard ?

In the end, Sanchez is what he is. Tanny and Rex traded up and drafted him. That's on them. If you go with the argument that Sanchez could succeed with better talent around him, that's also on Tanny and Rex. Running game sucks ? That's on Sparano and Degugliamo, but again, Tanny and/or Rex made this decision as well.

Top down, my list would be:

    Mike Tannenbaum
    Rex Ryan
    Tony Sparano
    Mark Sanchez
    Dave Degugliamo
Shonn Greene / Offensive Line (Perhaps not all of them)
    Recieving core

In all honestly, even though it's not nearly as good as it has been in the past, the defense is so far down the list of problem in my view.

Where does Woody Johnson fit into all this ? Have no idea.

I'm surprised to see the "Hoff" hasn't got any votes. ST has been pretty shitty this year.

MT deserves most of the blame. Remember in Hard Knocks he was giggling over picking up Holmes for a 5th rounder. Epic Fail!

The year we got him actually deserved all the giggling. That was a great move. It was the following move of giving him 50 million that was the mistake
