    well cromartie is n genius and this team in general is a bunch of blowhards who have proven not to backup their talk.

    we have almost no shot at the playoffs... especially if sanchez isnt benched. id be shocked if we got to 7 wins with mark.

    with tim or greg i can see 8, but 9 or 10 seems very unrealsitic

    99% wins? what a joke.

    Seattle is almost a gauranteed loss.

    Chargers is a loss

    tennesee will be tough

    bills game will be tough

    even st. louis is no gimmie with their defensive pressure.

    other then jax, we dont have a gimmie win, or even close to one

    Long enough to know that before Rex and co. came aboard, winning anything regularly was a miracle. Saying things like Cromartie did isn't a big deal to anyone but the media. Who cares if a player thinks that his team is going to the playoffs? Fans of this team, since Rex's arrival, have been complaining about the craziest things. I assume that since they can no longer complain about losing seasons, they need to create things to complain about.

    That's not true. I hate when people say this. The Jets became relevant again when Parcells took over in '97. Between '97-08 they made the playoffs 5 times and only had a losing record 3 times. Since Parcells, the Jets have been a pretty competitive team. People act like they had 10 straight losing seasons before Rex.

    '97: 9-7
    '98: 12-4 (lost AFCCG)
    '99: 8-8
    '00: 9-7
    '01: 10-6 (lost AFCWCG)
    '02: 9-7 (lost AFCDG)
    '03: 6-10
    '04: 10-6 (lost AFCDG)
    '05: 4-12
    '06: 10-6 (lost AFCWCG)
    '07: 4-12
    '08: 9-7

    Right now Cromartie sounds a lot like Karl Rove on Fox News. They just refuse to see and admit the reality of the situation they're in. This starts at the top as Rex is as delusional as all the rest of the homers that make up the Coaching staff, Front Office and Ownership.
