I thought he mentioned it a play late even though it showed up obviously. They also missed Cromartie. They cut to him getting worked on, but never mentioned it.
He did but they let Hill get away with one later in the game. BTW can you send me some FatDarrells to Vegas? Haven't had one in years, a night getting shitfaced at the Goldenrail and then some Grease Truck Goodness.
It looked like a TD to me. Landry had good coverage but a better throw and catch. That said, fuck Brady and Gronk.
The Pats lined up offsides on every defensive snap - Have you seen how fat Wilfork is - He needs a head start. The helmet to helmet on Greene - Hey, it's a Jet, big deal. The facemask call on the punt - Yeah, the ball was already kicked, but Jim Nance has more gratuitous knob slobbering to do on Brady so let's give them another series. Throwing the red flag on the Hernandez fumble call - No problem Bill. We got this. You want it overturned? Sure buddy, LOLZ. Sorry to get you all frownie faced. Stopping the clock at 2:01 on the fumble - Just a quick trigger, no way are we trying to give the Pats another TO. The PI call in OT - Sure, give 'em a new set of downs. Whatever. It's typical. We lost. Fuck the Pats, the refs, and the NFL.
But it wasn't reviewed. They buzzed down instantly and said it was good. They could have at least taken a real look at it. Stupid fucking rule. If you're going to review all scores, then REVIEW ALL SCORES.
All you guys that whined about the replacement refs should realize that the only difference was at least the replacements where honest.
Do you know how many times I said "We never get those calls" when the replacements were here? Truth is, you're probably right.
it was likely a TD but I didn't like how they looked at it for 2 seconds to determine it a TD yet they examine the negative replays for us for 10 minutes.
anyone complaining about the refs needs a reality check. that game was officiated well. the PI on wilson, probably should have let that go but its not like there wasnt contact either. we didnt get a great replay yet so to say it was complete bs... come on. the fumble by hernandez was clearly not a fumble and im shocked jets fans were crying foul about it during the game thread. he was clearly down the hold on the sanchez run was tick tack, but the lineman clearly reached out and tried to hook him. missed call but not egregious. helmet to helmet on green, i dont know. these calls to me are the ones i dont get a grasp on. seems random when they do and dont call it. on one hand it was a short quick throw were sanchez led green right into the hit. on the flip side the defender decapitated him. hard to say either way we didnt lose because of any of those calls. we lost because our coaching was awful, sanchez was inconsistend and had 2 bad turnovers, our WR's had way to many drops, our defense wore out and coudlnt stop them the last 2 drives, and we have a non exisistant pass rush
we had our chances and should have won but we also got screwed too. The Wilson PI set up the GW FG the extra second after the mcCourty fumble was HUGE b/c it gave NE an extra timeout. that last drive is likely very different if they have no timeouts, NE still has a chance but w/o the comfort o knowing they have a TO to work w/.
the frustrating part was the flag came out 10 secs later by an official 25 yards away. if they threw it right away it would have been easier to accept.
I'm not happy either, but he threw the flag pretty quick. Just took awhile to get there. It was pretty good throw too. Mark should talk to him. Sent from my SGH-I747M using Tapatalk 2
I don't know what the fuck McDaniels was thinking with his playcalling -- he was alternating between an ineffective run game and deep bombs, while meanwhile the Jets don't have anyone who can cover Gronkowski, and they haven't since his first day in the league.
