The logic behind a Revis trade is not that Cro and Wilson are better than Revis. Its that there are holes that need filling (that's what she said) and Revis has extremely high market value. Really. I could see two 1s for Revis.

Raise your hand if you think the Jets would be better than 3-4 right now with Darrelle Revis on the field.

    I didn't think so.

The Jets aren't missing a franchise CB right now, they're missing a franchise QB.

No I see your point actually we do need to stock up on picks for our future but I just cant see us getting rid of Revis, stranger things have happened though.

Our future is plenty bright with these young guys.

Every level of our team has very good players.

Our biggest issues are another big WR, blocking/receiving TE, rush OLB, cover OLB, cover Safety(though I love L-Train back there), another RB

We win this game with Revis why?, Welker doesn't get all those damn catches for first downs. Cro handled Lloyd, Revis would handle Welker and Kyle was fine.

We need to play Aaron Berry some to see what he's got

You forgot both guards need to be replaced in short order, the existing TE and #1 RB are free agents to be and the QB has had issues with change in the past.

I see the Jets as a 5-11 team in the making next year. I hope I am wrong on that but I see huge downside built into the team right now and not enough risers to make up the difference.

I think it really depends on what happens next week. If we win and look good, then this game is a bump in the road, if not this loss may linger till the end of the season.

On the bright side, this loss is not as devastating as the Charger loss to the Broncos last week. I think the Chargers are going to completely collapse because of it.

That's my point. Having Revis out hasn't cost the Jets anything this year. They didn't lose to the Steelers, 49ers, Texans or Patriots because they were missing a franchise CB.

This game was not a bump in the road. This game WAS the road. The Jets were in first place and making their first real threat to overtake the Pats with a healthy Brady in a decade if they win it.

Now we're right back where we've been for the last decade plus, looking up at the Pats in the standings and with poor prospects to catch them. We're like the kid in Jurassic Park, out of the tree but back in the car, again...

Sanchez for the most part was solid.

McKnight and Greene ran the ball effectively

Keller looks like his old self

    Kerley played well

Despite the drop Hill was solid

    Coples played well

    Wilkerson was solid

Davis made plays against the run

Landry was making tackles all over the place

Cromartie did a good job on Lloyd

    Folk made all his kicks

Revis would have helped vs New England and Pittsburgh

Ducasse will start next year and we'll likely add a vet in between Mangold/Howard

Sanchez has guaranteed money next year he'll be back

Revis was on the field against Pittsburgh, we were down 10-0 when he left the game in the 3rd quarter.

Which Gronkowski TD does Revis stop against New England?

Revis got hurt vs Buffalo he wasnt even in Pittsburgh during the game

Revis stops Welker on a couple of those 3rd down conversions because we always stick him on Welker during 3rd down. Which means saving a potential TD or holding them to 3

    Simple logic

Stop trying to make Revis have no value he's our best player and worth too much to us

Revis is great, and is one of the best ever. Though, I wonder while he watched the game from his couch a. Wonders if he was out there we would have won and/or b. Threw his remote at the television after all the bad OC calls, D choking and/or the Refs horrible officiating.

Not to mention we might lose Revis in the not too distant future (FAgency) and he will be recovering from injury. I don't think tradin him is such a bad idea, but I'm not sure it is good idea. I'd say it us cautiously intriguing.

We should keep Revis. With all the players were losing after this year we can afford him and he only makes the team stronger. Imagine him Cro and Kyle how they've been playing. That'll be two shut down corners and one very close to it. With everyone were losing and a very strong draft we should have our best team yet next year. But for.that we need an instant starting OLB and RB. Greene is fine but we need some explosiveness.

Im pretty sure Welker got 80% of his yards and first downs on screens. Trufant covered Welker on routes very well. If it wasnt for those screens, Welker had a terrible game.

Trufant covered him well on 2 of those with Revis he gets nothin on 3rd down we all know this but somehow try and make it like he's lost value

Revis is a special player sure someone can do his job but you dont replace him
