point  ? What are you saying???

Anyway, the D lost that game if I remember correctly. It was one of those games where you knew if Sanchez and the O had another chance if the D stopped Big Ben, Sanchez would lead them to a TD, JETS SB.

    Just saying.

Has anyone called him elite like I asked? I don't think so, but this idea that people think he is elite has been floating around the board and the only time I see it is from people saying other people are saying it.

Sanchez bulowwwwwsssssss. Absolutely pathetic we were practically given this game
Awful jus awful. We have no shot at a championship as long as Sanchez is at the helm. Ive been a Sanchez supporter for the past few years
and im just done. They have to see that he is not the answer.

If Brady & Sanchez were swapped, I'm seeing the Jets blowing the Pats out of the water. You're comparing their stats but they both faced very different defenses. They both also carry very different roles in their offenses.

Anyone else notice that one the underthrow to Hill that resulted in the interception, he had Greene open inthe right flat with no one within 15 yrds of him!!!! The time to throw deep had passed, check down moron!

simms made point that he threw the ball too late, which he did, but Sanchez has no QB clock in his head!!!!Same on the fumble to end the game. He has no ability to make the decision that the play is broken down and throw it away to live to play again!!!

So you swap a top 5 QB all time with an average QB and the top 5 QB would play better? What a shocker!

Brady and the Jets wouldn't have blown out Sanchez and the Pats. It would have been higher scoring though

Thank you for making sense, ppl don't have a clue what happened on that play.

WHAT IF Sanchez throws the ball away, Folk makes the kick and Patriots have 2 time outs?
The way they got into field goal territory and with that extra t.o we don't even see OT.

Lots of factors to blame other than Sanchez, he was actually a bright spot. I do think Tebow should have been utilized on the crucial 3rd & 1 instead of the weak slant call. Also your going to pass how abt Kerley or Keller get targeted instead of Schilens?

Folk gets mad props, and so do Keller and Kerley.

And Ray Lucas is so damn annoying, he must have gotten many concussions in his playing days, bcuz he forgot how bad of a qb he was.

the problem with this analogy are Brady and Sanchez are not even close to on the same level.

So he took a sack that almost pulled them out of field goal range? And this is smart football? Good call.

It's clear to anyone with even a shred of common sense, regardless of what kind of fan they are, that dirty sanchez is totally worthless - far and away the worse quarterback in the NFL, regardless of how many other problems the Jets have.

Unfortunately these forums are populated by sanchez fan boys that will always point the finger at someone else no matter how many times he throws an INT at the 1 yard line or how many times he fumbles the game away.

Exactly, because our kicker is automatic from 40+ yards like every other kicker in the league.

Taking the sack was bad, throwing it away would have been bad. He should gotten more upfield and taken the sack instead of rolling out backwards

Of course it's a shocker to some posters here. Aren't you reading the posts where Sanchez beat HOF QB in the playoffs and therefore can't be an average QB?

    Biggest overlooked mistakes...

    1. On the interception Sanchez misses a wide open Shonn Greene in the flats for an easy first down and probably more. I mean there wasn't anybody within realm of Green for 15 yards. inexcusable read.

    2. Wide open Reuland in the middle of the field and Sanchez takes a sack/incompletion. Can't remember right now. Huge play lost because Sanchez can't read the field.

Ok. Stephen Hill dropped one after this all happened. Big deal he's a rookie. But c'mon...4th year QBs can't make these kind of reads anymore. Sanchez is obviously not stepping up. Don't know what needs to happen but something has to change.

Both scenarios aren't ideal in that situation. But, you take a throw away over a sack. Too much can happen when you are sacked moving backwards with the ball (or any sack for that matter).

Regardless, Folk was solid. So it makes this discussion kind of void.

You people are idiots. Let's blame SANCHEZ for EVERYTHING when the defense allows the Pats to get into field goal range. Can you guys go like the Browns or something already? Anybody who puts this all on Sanchez should get their football pass revoked.
