I did I saw Wilson grabbing him and he pushing off with his hand. The announcers called it a good no call until the official 25 yards away threw the flag. If that is a flag then Gronkowski pushing off to separate from Landry on his TD is offensive P.I. as well.
the REF was clearly pressure to throw a flag there. It was a good 10seconds of boos and bitching from the PATS sidelines and finally a flag was thrown.
They allowed Hill to get away woth one too so they evened out. I just thought on the 1st Gronkowski TD the nose of the ball scraped the ground. CBS showed a good angle of it before the commercial but never showed it again.
Ok point is you cant call handchecking on the crucial drive of the game and not call it the rest of the game.
No, the announcers did not call it a good non-call. They said it on the next incompletion to hernandez when there was no call.
I agree with the idea that a lot of this is rigged. If the same play happened the other way there would have been no PI...guaranteed.
Yes they did. You will just continue to unabashedly defend your team. Cromartie on flag on Wilson: "If the front judge can't see it then i don't know why the back judge can"-- Apparently that ref has laser vision to see through both players backs. Landry just said "Cant control the officials the call is etched in stone." Rex during his presser said "the refs made the call right ON THAT PLAY"-- referring to the Hernandez fumble. Kyle Wilson-- "Gotta move on the to the next play, I didnt think it was a foul but whatever"
Blame the play call on 3&1, Blame Hill for dropping that pass,Blame the fact they left Brady with 1 min 50 sec at the end of the 4th, Blame the play calling in ot, Blame any of those before you start blaming the refs
I have not solely blamed this call at all. There were some bad calls, but there are always some bad calls in Jets- Pats games. I am not blaming the call at all. I just cant sit by and watch Pats fans say it was a good call from 30 yards away.
Am I pissed about it? Absolutely but Wilson clearly held and it was the right call. Yeah that pissed me off, I said from the 1st angle I thought it hit the ground because you can see a clear strek avross the endzone where the ball would have been. The angle they showed before the commercial confirmed it but CBS never showed that angle again.
I just remembered a comment made by one of the smart Jet posters on here bout picking at the low hanging fruit.... have a nice night.
yea i'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks so. when that PI call came out I literally spit water out of my mouth. It was like a WWF moment
When Cro got away with interference on Lloyd on what would have been and game winning TD, I bet you were liking the refs at that point.
I will be the first to admit that Sparano had some really bad play calls. Stephen Hill cannot drop that pass. They should have went for the win and not the tie. Slauson cannot let Wilfork block him in that far. When you have Brady pressured, you have to hit him. Mark cannot make that awful throw on the interception to Stephen Hill Spikes hit on Shonn Greene is a hit on a defenseless receiver and leading with the helmet. 15 yards and a flag every time. Bill's challenge is an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty that was called on the Colts two weeks ago. That one ref must have had laser vision on that play to see through Wilson and Hernadez. Kerley cannot fair catch twice inside the ten. (Kerley is a beast by the way) The final play, you cannot crawl at a players legs (the Tom Brady Rule). That is 15 yards and a flag. You cannot take a sack on 3rd down in field goal range towards the end. Calvin Pace and Bart Scott cannot be covering Gronkowski. So in conclusion you can suck my low hanging fruit. That no flag would have put a field goal at a much bigger range and possibly have changed the game.
It looked a bs call but it just seems a lot of other stuff may get overlooked by people because of this call
Which play was this one? Or how about when your player held Jason Hill. Or they called holding on Brandon Moore as Chandler Jones (SU BABY) tried to trip Sanchez as he ran by (a penalty that should have offset) as well. Such blatant faggotry if you think the calls against the Jets were worst. Its bad when the New York media, the media that piles on the Jets, comment at being shocked for a flag being called in your stadium.
