1. Safety - inexcusable. outcome changing 2 points. 2. Kickoff return TD - again, inexcusable and very uncharacteristic of the Jets and Westoff units 3. Stephen Hill drop - if he makes that catch more time come off the clock as well as the opportunity for a TD 4.Sanchez Int - atrocious pass, he had shonn greene wide open in the flat with nobody within 20 yards of him. his worst decision of the day IMO Can't put this loss on Sanchez. he did the very best he possibly could today, which was good enough to beat the Patriots today, this was a team loss, plenty of blame could go around. Oh, and that 3rd and 1 slant from the 2 yard line was an awful playcall. if you claim to be a ground and pound team, then run the fucking ball, especially after doing so successfully on first and second down.
Sanchez did enough things to win and enough things to lose, he never has a clean game against a good team in a big moment
Then something else would have changed in the course of events. Who cares if something different happened, it didn't so who cares. Of course I know what you are getting at. This is why I can't stand the Jets front office and leadership in general. They don't demand more nor do they get enough quality players to produce more. This is the same fucking team since the 80's, sometimes good but never good enough.
what's encouraging is we still only lost by 3 in overtime. Pats can be had. I been saying it all week
Agree with every one of those points. All brutal mistakes, yet the Jets were still right there and easily could have won.
