This game was lost in regulation time during the last drive...They did NOT, as Herm Edwards put it, play to win the game. They dorked around with two runs for a total of 3 yards and ended with Hill's disgusting drop. Hill will learn a lot from this...in my mind those three plays cost us the game. Cost us the ability to run out the clock as well as a possible touchdown instead of the FG. As far as overtime goes, this was not the time to go into a "rush 3" only lineman. They should have done what they did all game long instead of going into that bullshit prevent defense. Ultimately this was a shit eating loss that didn't have to be a loss. From the 2 minute mark of the 4th quarter on was VERY typical Jets.
This hurts This game was in our hands at the 2 minute mark. Can't believe we just let it slip. I would prefer a blow out loss. This hurts more.
Not even close...Sanchez didn't call two pussy runs for 3 yards and Sanchez didn't drop a ball that was between the numbers. No, Sanchez played well enough today. This was definitely on others and the coaches today.
This is a joke. I could sit here and rattle off 5 other areas where to place the blame before I get to Sanchez.
that is it right there. i dont care about the rest of the game. you battled back to get to that point. and then pussied out
Sanchez threw a perfect pass to Hill. Should have been 1st and 10 at the 11. It takes a team to win and a team to lose. Sanchez had his issues today, but he is not why we lost.
Coaching failure, team failure. Game was blown, Pats didn't win. Nick Folk is MVP for Jets. Many parts that didn't work, but I take away a positive that the Jets put up a fight. They will be worth watching season. Sparano gets fired at end of year
I think you are out of touch. That Herm Edwards clip is famous! Can't believe you don't know what I'm talking about.
That's Sparano ball. He loves FGs. I think I told you all that before the season. You can have the possibility of a high powered offense - but Sparano wants FGs.
In any given game there are at least 5 scapegoats. In this game I think it breaks down like this. 1.) Sparano - 3-1 throw? Last drives McKnight plunge? 2.) Refs - Nobody will ever convince me Wilson interfered. 3.) God - Im 50/50 on this one. He's either responsible for everything or doesn't exist. Close call. 4.) Hill - Oh so tall, dark, and seemingly perfect young man. And yet, he never fails to break my heart. No homo. No homo. 5.) Sanchez - Should've held onto the muthafuckin ball in OT, bro.
I blame the kick return, the safety, and Sanchez's brutal INT more than any of the stuff the TC mentioned. Those were huge, game killing mistakes. Brady threw a INT right to Cro but he dropped it. We needed that one...we needed Hill ro catch an easy ball too. Those were killer. Too many mistakes today, which sucks cuz we dont get many real chances to beat those guys at home.
