Overthrows, no touch, bad decisions, underthrows. Ive seen enough. He is not a good QB. I used to make excuses, playcalling, Schotty, no receivers, bad line. No more, that pick should have been a TD to Hill. Get rid of him
He should have thrown it earlier, there was a clear point where Hill was past the CB and the safety still had to come over, he should have thrown it then. If it didn't result in a TD cause the safety gets to him, would have put us inside the 10 at least, maybe even the 5, terrible throw and timing.
As frustrated as I am with Sanchez, and am on board with drafting his replacement in 2013... I gotta say... This thread feels like a kneejerk reaction to the last interception, by my judgment, that pick was on Hill. Underthrown? Yeah. But an elite receiver would recognize that early, and adjust to it and make the grab. Even a good vet would slow up and get in the way. Not ragging on Hill, just a rookie mistake. The problem I have is that Chez had his checkdown reciever, I think Keller, wide open, past the first down marker, with like 20 yards of running room. Idk if Sanchez just didn't see him? 1 more thing Sanchez >>> Tebow But yeah, I accept and agree with the general premise of this thread.
you can't rely on this perpetual rookie to make plays when they count; that was an embarrassing interception, he had a wide open receiver on a shorter route, and then tosses that volleyball up to be picked off.
I do. That's why I said "not ragging on hill, just a rookie mistake." Its at the end of that paragraph. You see it? Right there. You just gotta keep reading big man, you'll get it.
Bad pass? fuck yea!! actually beyond bad. But did you see the passes that were dead on that were dropped? How about the touch pass to Kerley that was perfect? How about him actually converting on 3rd or the passes right to Keller? Yes, He threw a Bad pass. actually 2 counting the high one to Hill but you guys get fukin insane asa he makes a bad play.. Fukin Board was locking up right after the INT!!
Elite receiver or not, that throw was a clear 10 yards underthrown. I dont think even Calvin Johnson is getting back to break that one up....
That was the worst throw I have seen him make. I know he is sporadic monkey with his decision making, throwing into triple coverage, but now I'm concerned he lost physical ability to throw 30yds to a WIDE OPEN receiver standing in the end zone. #6 do you have a pair, still?
How about starting a thread with something we don't know? We already have a "sanchez Sucks" Thread. now a "sanchez Blows" thread, what's next?
Knee jerk reaction. We should be winning this game if it wasn't for that kick return. All hope is not lost. Let's hope our Jets really take it to them in the 2nd half.
Seems to me that everyone loves when Sanchez makes a mistake.. I also agree with the other Guy, an experienced receiver breaks that up atleast.
You sure dude? It really didnt look that short to me. But I only saw it once live and once replayed, before I went out for my frustration cig. But it realllly did not look that short to me. And please dont think Im trying to defend Sanchez, I dislike him as much as the next man, but I really dont think that specific pass was that bad. On the 2 looks I saw, it looked he undershot Hill, and the corner saw it, stopped, and Hill didnt. Hence equal blame on both parties. But if Im wrong Im wrong.
Dear Rex Ryan- Please, please please stop tormenting us with Sanchez. He cannot get the job done. @Moonshine- yes, it was that short. It was an unbelievably bad pass. Besides, what kind of QB requires "elite" receivers to break up poorly thrown balls, over and over? It seems for some people it can never be Sanchez's fault. If you put Sanchez on any other team, he'd make them suck, too.
I just stopped reading, cause what you said was so stupid, I didn't want to risk losing brain cells reading more.
