You guys realize that it has been relatively quite on the Jets and Patriots front for this game. Maybe the media has other things to do, like talk about the Eagles?:breakdance:

Maybe because Rex and Co have not been yapping which creates buzz in the media.

Just wait till Tebow comes out and calls Belicheck "A fucking asshole"....that should light up the boards!

Honestly he needs to speak the truth about Belicheck, he needs to call him a cheater.

If the Pats & Jets had better records this game would have a lot more hype. Jets have been blown out twice & Pats are not looking like their dominant selves. It is weird to see such little hoopla going into a Jets/Pats game on both sides.

Actually the post about the media focusing on the Yankees has a lot to do with it. Assbag Rod has taken the position as the medias whipping boy from Sanchez.

It's two 3-3 teams and both fan bases are pre-occupied by concerns about the talent on the team. The media is obsessed with other things this year also. There's just not a lot of room for yapping at this point.

If both teams were 5-1 right now it would be different but two 3-3 teams just don't generate a lot of buzz.

To that point I know most of you seem to hate Cimini (with reading a few of his posts in the past I can see why) but wow 2 days before Pats Jets ESPN Boston has about 15 posts ESPN NY 2 thats some serious laziness

I think it has to do with the Yankees postseason collapse that the media is talking less about the Jets this week. This could benefit the Jets since less cameras are on them and they can focus on the game against the Pats.

Alot of other sports stories buzzing around, but truthfully, I don' think they are too afraid of the Jets this year. I hope it burns them.

    Its cause the Yankees collapsed.

A wonderful birthday present the Tigers gave me, I might add.

    Delicious tears of Girardi

Rex already came out and said he thinks we are going to beat them, I always liked when Rex talks shit but not when it comes to the Patriots and Bellicheck, Rex said the same shit before the game we got blown out at 45-3

Rex does this every time we play the pats. He comes out and says something the keeps the media focused on him and not his team. If he really is doing it to deflect media pressure he's a damn genius.

He said it again before the next matchup in the playoffs, which the Jets won. He always says it.

Stop acting like Rex talking to the media loses games.

I have to disagree with you here. A large percentage of the time Rex talks to the media the Jets end up losing! Pretty much every other time we win. Coincidence? I think not. Clearly talking to the media causes us to win and lose games and has something to do with us not having any ties!

    :)

Nobody's talking about it because nobody gives the Jets a chance to win this game. We're 10 to 12 point underdogs, nobody cares.

Perfect sleeper game, where the Jets pull off an unexpected win.
