I don't get all the posts that are in favor of trading away Keller? Yeah, let's get rid of another of Sanchez' favorite targets, one he has a comfort level with, and bring in someone else. Then we can continue to complain about how Sanchez sucks.
Dewayne Bowe....Rumors are starting This could be the guy...I have a feeling we make a move if the chiefs decide to really move this guy. What is the opinion on this guy......
Yes please. Don't know much about him but hoping someone could fill us in. Has to be an improvement over what we have now. Bowe + Hill on the outside. Kerley in the slot. Keller then Schillens/Gates/whoever else... me gusta.
Miami is trying very hard to get him but If we can sneak in and get him would be great!! Maybe throw in Hillis too!! Miami has better back up QBs which is what the Chiefs want....MM vs TT?? Id want Moore
I'd like the move so long as he didn't come with an enormous price tag. Always liked Bowe. Could be a Braylon type for Sanchez, big bodied, possession receiver. I feel like you're going to hear rumors of him going to half the teams in the league.
I say get him in exchange for tebow, cut pace and scott next year, sign bowe with money saved from those two, draft pace's replacement in 2013, we already have scott's replacement.
You have to assume KC wants a pick or two also. I don't know how Bowe would fit under our cap, but if he could, and if the Jets plan on using a Round 1 or Round 2 pick on a WR in April, then maybe they should use that pick on Bowe?
He is on a franchise tag....Next year a FA.....so maybe do like we did with holmes get him hope he likes it and stays.....If not we lose what we give away
Agree....But I would give player over pick!! Tebow and someone or a 4th.....if they want him. Remember bowe is under FRANCHISE TAG....not worth that much he is a FA after season....So they will take anything for him NOW vs nothing Later! Think next year....Holmes, Bowe, Hill, kerley....If we resign keller even better! Holmes is under contracted and fully guaranteed so we have him next year..... Use our top 3 picks on Oline, CB (Pending what we do with revis), RB maybe (What we do with greene)...... This would be interesting
Pass on Bowe. I like him as a receiver but would rather the Jets focus on beefing up the run game and defense. Bowe will get big money and I'm not saying he's not worth it, but there are only so many dollars to spend.
He would be the big deep threat receiver that we lack (unless S. Hill progresses earlier than we expect)
If there was a way to cut ties with the toxic Holmes I'd do so in a heartbeat and go after a talent like Bowe. Unfortunately Holmes' contract would preclude us from having any flexibility to sign this beast.
I'm not really sure why there are so many people that think KC would be interested in Tebow. I could be mistaken, but I don't think they were even in the discussion when he was traded from Denver.
