One of, if not the, biggest problems on D for us still remains to be the inability to get the defense off the field on 3rd Down. Making things worse, 3rd and Long is generally the plays that we cannot stop. Why has this been an issue of ours for years now? Surely the Raven's defenses under the Ryan era got off on 3rd downs, right?
And it's a good thing we won today because the Patriots are sure to capitalize on that weakness next week.
Shonn Greene did not make the right cuts on a few plays, and he was unable to make 200 yards. Our running game sucks, and we will never reach the playoffs in this decade. We should trade Revis.
I agree. The third down wasn't the problem today. In fact, you really don't have much to complain about. I like how Cromartie seems to have taken a leadership role on Defense also. Lets see how long it lasts.
