Sorry if this isnt the right place for this thread but to tell you the truth at this point, i really dont care.

I have season tickets-behind the endzone about 25 rows up. I have had them forever, great seats to watch the game and the best part about them is that im right under the overhang so if the ball is all the way at the other side of the field i can watch the TVs above. Also, bad weather cant touch me there.

So anyway, last week i decided to take my mom to the Giants game-to be nice. She picked me up in her car, right after i picked up my tickets for the entire year, so i had my 2 tickets to every single game in her car. I tore out the two tickets i was using for that game, and left the tickets in the car. My mom wanted to leave early and i found i friend to go home with at the end of the game. I figured i would just pick up the tickets later, no bigee. So anyway i watch the rest of the game, things are fine. I decided i wanted to pick up my tickets today because theres a game on Friday. I go over to her house, go into her car. THE TICKETS ARENT FUCKING THERE! I go on calmly and say "mah, where the FUCK are my tickets." She says "I dont know what your talking about." "Mah, dont toy with my emotions like this, where my damn tickets." We figure it out later that she thought they were the programs to the game, AND THREW THEM OUT! SHE THREW MY TICKETS OUT! I start yelling a bit, searching through the garbage, she says to me, "The garbage went out yesterday." I no longer have tickets. Not one. Fuck this shit. (Pardon my language im just a bit angry right now) If anyone has ANY ideas, ANY, please please let me know. I dont know what to do with myself...please.

Do you have a receipt or anything? I dont have tickets so I dont know the business, see if you can contact the Meadowlands or the Jets main office and they could probably get them back if you can prove you are a season ticket holder. Also mom's throw out everything, theyre dangerous, my mom goes into my room and throws out my shit, its annoying. Im sure though there has to be a way to get those tickets back, sorry about hearing that though, it really sucks.

Worth a try to contact the box office and explain your case.

Doubt you'll get tickets or a refund though.

Damn that sucks balls... maybe you can notify the organization about it and they can help you out. I don't know too much about the season ticket process, but I'm sure there's a way you can prove that those 2 seats belong to you and that they're not going to give some random guy 2 tickets.

Same thing happened to my dad years back. The Jets will replace your tickets but I believe that you unfortunately have to repay the cost of the tickets plus $5 or so per ticket, per game. I am sure there is more information on the Jets website in the ticket section.

There might be a decent fee, but there's little doubt that they will replace them for you.

My tickets were destroyed, lost or stolen. Help!

Season ticket holders may request to have their tickets replaced only if they repay the value of the lost, stolen or destroyed tickets.

Season ticket holders with lost, stolen or destroyed tickets should call the New York Jets Ticket Office at (516) 560-8200 between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday. On the day of the game, Season ticket holders should go to the Information Window at Gate "D". Season ticket holders will need their account number, exact seat locations and proper I.D. to secure replacement tickets. There is a replacement fee of $5.00 per ticket.

    From the jets website
"Season ticket holders may request to have their tickets replaced only if they repay the value of the lost, stolen or destroyed tickets."

I've seen a few things in my 36 or so years but that is the biggest rip-off I have ever encountered. I actually got a bit angry reading this. They only have to re-print the bloody things. It's not cash you lost, it's a freakin ticket.

Grrrrr, I feel sorry for you man.

Maybe I don't understand this fully and are making a fool of myself but to me it says that you have to pay again the whole value of the tickets.?

Wow, I am astonished at the level of ripoff that is. I mean, shit happens, you shouldn't be punished this hard for something like that.

It's not even like your presence there costs the team anything, on the contrary!

That is less beer/concessions/merchandise sold by the team. Unfathomable.
