Hall of Fame Player, Hall of Shame leader. We all remember him sitting on the sidelines, hood over his head, disassocited with his team about to lose. Last year, the "great leader" LT did nothing to difuse a locker room situation. Now he acts like he has the ear of the Jet's locker room.I doubt it. As always, no substance with LT. I wish he never played for the Jets

LT: Players losing faith in Sanchez
    October, 14, 2012
Oct 1411:12AM ETBy Rich Cimini | ESPNNewYork.com Recommend0Tweet4Comments6EmailPrintEAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Former Jet LaDainian Tomlinson, who likes to splash gasoline on the Jets' brushfires, said Sunday morning that the team is losing faith in struggling QB Mark Sanchez.

"Well (Sanchez's) almost at the end of his rope," Tomlinson said during his regular spot on the NFL Network. "Talking to guys in this locker room, they're starting not to trust Sanchez as a football player. Turning the football over, inconsistent play."

    Tomlinson continued:

"And here's the thing," he said. "They have to get better play from the quarterback position. Rex Ryan has said it over and over again, but I think they're going to give Sanchez two or three more starts to try to turn this team around, and then they're going to go with Tim Tebow."d a down for the Jets.

You might want to edit your thread title to make it Tomlinson not just Tomlin

I have no respect at all for LT. He is a fraud. Leader????? Give me a break. My lasting memory of him on the sidelines in the AFC Championship game vs the Pats in 2008 with his boo boo knee sulking on the bench with his poncho on not saying a single word to his teammates - no encouragement, no advice. Just LT on the bench sulking like a 2 year old because he could not play. Meanwhile, Rivers was playing with an injured ACL. That display by LT was the ultimate act of selfishness, immaturity, and lack of leadership. He can shove his comments you know where.

What has he ever won? When has he ever come up big in a big spot? Sanchez has performed so much better in big games than LT. This is a joke.

Tebow isn't the answer. If Sanchez doesn't get it going in the next couple of weeks, we either give McElroy a shot or plan to draft a QB high next year

Let me guess, did he hear that from the crappy o-line, the shitty wr core or the over rated defense? My guess is special teams. Geez not every fucking former football player makes a great analyst. It is clear as day that Tomlinson (he aint LT in my book that is reserved for #56) has an ax to grind on the Jets. He hasn't been objective at any point during the start of the season.

If mark don't get er done over the next few weeks, then don't have to bench him...maybe give tim a larger role. Hell, let tim run it in from 1st and goal from the fucking 3 yard line.

I think his knock in SD was that he was a selfish guy.

He's gone now and his opinion means as much as mine does.

Tomlinson whines about the Jets even week or two. I think he caught Rex sucking his wifes toes.

True? Maybe. But, he's a dumbass asshat, guessing at the locker-room dynamics.

Anyone notice how much he sounds like Majic Johnson- a dumbed-down Majic Johnson. But, there's alot of that in broadcasting. Anywhere but the FOX pre-game show, and i feel like i'm watching 'The View'- 'The NFL View' if you will. Everyone babbling and talking over each other, creating drama for ratings.

LT is turning into Namath - he is nfl.com's go to guy if they want a negative story about the jets (when Gregg from PFT is too busy to oblige)

Why are you upset at LT probably pointing out the truth. He's doing his job and quite frankly Sanchez still sucks. He's a game manager.
