Thats about it... Our pathetic WR core DID GET WIDE OPEN. Our RB's and primarily Sanchez did very little to do anything. Just upsetting that we are literally being held back.
The defense was much better in spurts but got gashed quite a bit. Lack of talent on both sides of the ball is killing us.
Joe McKnight stepped up. I still see next to no pass rush, and a run D that always allows 100 yard rushers and gets beaten on the ground with relative ease. The only reason the D looked "good" was because of how horrible it looked last week.
i hated the onside kick attempt after a 100 yard kick return in a 6 point game, but Mcknight killed it with that return, and Tebows fake punt was niceley done as well, Westoff is great im gonna miss him when he retires after this season
I didn't mind it at all. The defense was clearly gassed and our special teams unit was the only unit that was clearly better than there's. The play was drawn up to perfection too - Schillens needs to come down with that ball.
Run game was still missing. Receivers did alright but there a thin group with limited talent. Probably time to sign a receiver since this team has shown that it still might have something left to prove. An yeah Sanchez wasn't good again.
Wouldn't get overly excited about special teams. Texans have had a glaring problem there all year, no idea why trindon holliday is still back there. Perhaps if Cushing is out for the year they will finally cut him to bring in LB help.
JETS gain momentum, pull a surprise onside kick. Slipper hands Chaz can't hold on. A ball he has to grab in the air. Would have been game changing.
our D allowed 170 yds rushing, the pass D was good but the run D sucked again. We lost b/c of JJ Watt.
Who would you want - given the choice: C. Johnson? Or T.O? Me personally, I'd take Chad. I don't think teams can take us seriously in the passing game without a deep threat. Of course, the FO would probably disagree because they like to "pretend" we have good receivers/deep threats right now.
