The Jets had to have Shonn Greene. He was still on the board at the start of day 2! Gotta have that, Traded 3 picks for him.

The Texans picked Arian Foster off of the trash heap.

Running back is famously a mutt position. You pick somebody way up high in the first 2 rounds or you find somebody nobody else thought was much good and prove them wrong.

Why do the Jets have this so wrong?

All the other teams were wrong about Arian Foster as well and he got his opportunity because of an injury to Ben Tate who was an early round pick but wound up getting injured leaving the door open to Arian Foster. Therefore, you could also say they got lucky.

Sanchez will always have a get out clause because he has zero ground game to turn too.

I cant understand how tanny and rex can preach ground and pound with Greene as the primary back i really have seen enough. Run defence is concerning me more then our backs at the minute though.

When in doubt, pick a University of Tennessee tailback. They all tend to beast.

    Also sire children.

ur right, especially cuz foster was drafted with the next pick...

oh wait, he wasn't drafted at all....everyone including the texans who didn't draft him could say this...the texans happened to take a flier on him as an UDFA.

I highly doubt Foster would be as successful as he is with any other team. Cmon, Kubiak is known for turning trash into treasure when it comes to running backs.

Foster would not be successful on the Jets, and Greene would have success with the Texans.

Anyone else feel like Terrance Ganaway would've been contributing this year if we didn't cut him?

What does Shonn Greene have to do with anything? Foster was an UDFA, the Jets could've signed him. Blame all 32 teams for not drafting him. It's not as though when Greene was drafted the Jets were flushed with talent at RB....

I blame the Jets for spending 3 picks on a RB when that's not what you do in the NFL.

Who trades up for a RB?
