Week 5: Jets 2-3 Bills 2-3 Pats 3-2 Phins 1-4 Week 6: Jets 3-3 Bills 2-4 Phins 2-4 Pats 4-2 Week 7 Phins 2-4 (BYE) Bills 3-4 Jets 3-4 Pats 5-2 I could see the Pats losing to Denver though. so 4-3 or 5-2.
Alrigbt Bills lose, Pats win. We must beat the Texans or Colts and head into New England with division on the line. Im not saying we beat New England but a first place game should get any team pumped.
how can you even see the jets winning more than 2 the rest of the way? the only team in the league that we can say is a guaranteed win is cleveland and we dont play them...we literally suck in every facet of the game
I'm in with you on this one. Until the Jets can pull their nuts up in their sack's reclaim some pride, come together as a cohesive unit trying to stay in the race/game, they will remain a textbook example of a fractured locker room, led by a man who has unfortunately lost the team.. If that was the case, we beat Houston, MAYBE beat the colts, and against the Pats (simply cause we can't stop the run).... :shit:
Say what you want about the Colts, they are rebuilding but they have a QB that despite being a rookie can light things up. Kids thrown for 300+ yards in 3 of his first 4 games and has 7 TD's to 5 picks. Aside from his first game where he threw 3 picks, he hasn't thrown more than 1 pick in any game. Just for the record it took Sanchez till his 1st game of his third season to throw his 3rd 300 yard game. (and that's including all of Sanchez's play off games). Of course it's not a fair comparison, Luck is one of those once a generation type of QB's, which is exactly why in a QB driven league the Colt's won't be a pushover.
As I said, it wasn't a fair comparison, Luck is in every way superior to Sanchez and regardless of talent around them will have the better career, barring injury. There simply aren't very many rookie QB's that start their first season with 3 out of their first 4 games over 300 yards passing, and nearly getting to 400 yards on one of those game. And thus I'm saying that the Colts game shouldn't be looked at as an easy game.
especially with the Jets problems generating a pass rush and Revis being down for the season. It's true the Colts are pass first run second. Jets are a run first team. But then again when your QB in his rookie season throws more picks than TD's and misses nearly 1/2 his passes you'd better run more than you pass. If the Jets had Luck you would bet they'd pass a lot more than they do. But like I said it's not a fair comparison, Luck was a true #1 pick in the draft, most thought Sanchez was an overdraft at #5.
You are missing it, unlike us the Pats are getting younger each season all while keeping up the same level of play. I read somewhere that, they have the 2nd youngest defense in the league.
After watching the Pats take apart the Bronco's and the Fins improving with each passing week play and the Jets performance over these last weeks, not feeling to good about this season at all. If tomorrow nights play is a continuation of that trend, then I would have to agree with those who believe we will not win more then six games at best. Many of the team who looked beatable suddenly don't look so easy any more. I could see a major shake up coming at the end of the season from the GM all the way to the towel boys. This will not bode well for Rex and his staff, shame is, I think with more time and the development of a few more players, we could have the makings of a very good team with Rex as H/C and of course a new QB.
they were playing off emotional high, it won't last all season. They could beat us, but I think we take them next week. Green Bay obviously isn't the same team.
Barcs disagrees. You know, because the Jets were tied for first to start this weekend. "The future is now!!! (Quoted by Barcs....TOOL!!!)
Miami should be 3-2 (our game, easily) and maybe even 4-1 (Zona). Just let that sink in. After yesterday we're looking like we'll be starring 2-6 in the face come the Bye.
I know I sound like a broken record here, but I really think the only real problem the Jets have that is fixable right now is the QB situation. Tonight, we will see what Sanchez is made of. In fact, we should see what this entire team is made of. I am going to be rooting for the Jets to put up some offense tonight. I think they will need to in order to stop the wrath of Foster that is surely coming your way.
