Jennings is made of glass, that's one reason he hasn't taken much of a pounding. He can't ever stay on the field long enough.

Yeah like any old back would be able to put up 1200 yard seasons for almost a decade facing eight-man fronts all the time because the rest of your offense sucks monkey brains. In all that time his best QB was maybe Bulger for one year? The best receiver they had in the last seven years was who, an ossified Torry Holt? And those eight-man fronts become nine-man fronts at the goalline.

He's not their #2. He was "moved" on the website simply because Battle started over him since he's coming back from an injury. They are very high on him and gave up a lot to get him. They wouldnt give him to us for anything cheap... probably would have to give up a 1st. Maybe a 2nd... so yeah, not happening.

We are going to have to draft our own back- Marcus Lattimore or Leveon Bell would be ideal

    Stay away from Jackson .

He will be in his 10th year with even more mileage than Tomlinson had because off all the injuries he sustains EVERY year.

There is no reason that you should not be able to pick up an RB in the draft that could contribute immediately.

Drafting a Steven Jackson player would be one of the best things Jets could do. Signing Steven Jackson himself after so much mileage is a bad move (unless he comes really cheap).

Kind of surprised that there's posts here dissing him. Jackson carried the rock and produced for years without solid cast around him. If he had comparable talent around him then he'd be making playoffs his entire career.

We won't be signing him unless he is ok with monopoly money for payment of his contract.

Good backs are a dime a dozen, unless you're the jets

Only if we get a new GM. Our last three RB picks (Greene, Powell, McKnight) haven't exactly lit the world on fire.

    so true.

every other team seems to be able to plug in somebody and get instant production.

half the teams in the league have to have better backups than shonn greene.

And I'm SO glad they did. The Texans were going to snag him, but we had to 'settle' for Ben Tate. Silly San Diego.

No. Just no. What this team needs is far from old washed up players. We need to get younger. It's as simple as that.

We're gonna need S-Jax for the run option offense we'll be running when Tebow takes over after MNF

Wouldn't touch that guy with the jaws of life. An old oft injured RB whose gotten the snot beat out of him for 9 years on a bad team. PASS.

You need a young explosive RB through the draft.

We need Michael Dyer, he has All-Pro talent and if he focuses he can be what Clinton Portis shouldve been, or he could be Clinton Portis which isnt bad.
