First of all - HELLO - I am the new one here

I would try to give Sanchez more weapons first

Maybe McCown from the Browns via Trade
or try some FA maybe Vince Young.

    Greetings from Germany :)

Hmm, good question. Which teams would say yes if we offered Sanchez for theirs, straight up?

Buffalo, Arizona, Tampa Bay, KC, Cleveland, Oakland, Tennessee, and maybe Jacksonville would be the list of teams that might consider it.

I think ultimately, Oakland, Tennessee, and Jacksonville would say no. Tennessee and Jax both have young high draft picks and they're not close to contending. Palmer is just better than Sanchez.

We could probably swing our choice of Fitz, Kolb, Freeman, Cassel, or Weeden for Sanchez, though. I'd have no interest in Freeman or Cassel, neither of whom are starting quality QBs. Fitz is way overpaid, so I'd pass on that, too. Kolb might be cool, since he could start or be a good back-up. Ditto Weeden.

Ultimately, I just want to deal Sanchez for a pick to whoever will take him. Unload the contract and start fresh.

I suggested we try and trade him after week 2 before his trade value plummeted. Its too late now. He is ranked last in the league and being made into a joke at NFL.com. He has no trade value left.

Nobody is going to trade for him and his contract.

And what would we package to get rid of our bust QB when we are in need of rebuilding. We cant afford to package more just to dump our QB. Thats just not rational.

I dunno, I could see someone taking him if it's basically just for the cost of his contract. If Vick has another crappy year, I could see Philadelphia taking him on for a late-rounder. Maybe Arizona, too. Kansas City or Tampa Bay are possibilities. Not saying it would happen, but it's possible.

I'd take our backup TJ Yates over either of your guys.

I might even debate our 3rd stringer John Beck vs. Sanchez or Tebow.

How do you feel about Landry, Barkley or Geno Smith? You'll have a draft pick to grab one.

you mean the TJ Yates that has 3 INts in 2 playoff games while Sanchez has that many in 6?

Your starting QB has never won a big game, Sanchez has won 4 ROAD playoff games. do you remember the drive to beat you guys 2 years ago? not many could pull that one off.

Laughable QB comparison on JI Pennington vs Sanchez, Sanchez is more like post injury Pennington

You can't debate your 3rd string qb Beck bc he got cut. Way to keep up with your team buddy.

If MT traded for Braylon Edwards in Mark's rookie season, what makes anybody think the Jets have enough NOW ???

    Yeah, that Yates.

Maybe because I have seen him play and see his poise and maturity starting as a rookie in the playoffs. Fits our system real well to.

As for Beck, your right he did get cut, still to think I might find a street FA preferable to your starter.

    stop.

there is no one in the league that will trade FOR sanchez. are you guys nuts?

i'm not saying sanchez is the worst qb in the league, but why would you give something up when you can get at least 80% of sanchez's production with the guy that you have now.

Mark Sanchez started as a rookie in the playoffs and won 2 ROAD playoff games as a rookie and played MUCH better than Yates did beating a mediocre Bengal team. The bengal team we beat won the AFC North, had Carson Palmer and swept the Steelers and Ravens, the one you beat didn't beat a winning team all year and also had a rookie QB.

The only one I'd even consider is Smith.

Barkley is enough soft SoCal USC QB loser and Landry is still nothing without his boy who got hurt last year and is now with the Lions.

I agree that it's not all Sanchez' fault, but he looks awful. It seems that mentally, he can't handle his position.

Matt Ryan - Ryan in a heartbeat
Cam Newton - Newton, not even close
Josh Freeman - Sanchez, but Feeman has a higher ceiling.
    Drew Brees - Brees easy

Ryan Fitzpatrick - Sanchez. Fitz's best is better than Mark's best but he's the same as Mark the majority of the time.
Ryan Tannehill - Tannehill but it's close.
Tom Brady - also no need to even ask

Joe Flacco - Flacco in a heartbeat
Andy Dalton - Easy one, Dalton.
Brandon Weeden - Sanchez now, Weeden if he gets one or two notches better.
Ben Roethlisberger - Ben, thats an easy one

Jay Cutler - Cutler easily. At least when he has turnovers he knows what he is doing and not throwing out of fear/hope.
Matthew Stafford - stafford hands down
Aaron Rodgers - Rodgers without a doubt
Christian Ponder - Ponder, by the en dof the season he'll be a stedier QB than Sanchez.

Tony Romo - Romo easy for the same reason as Cutler
Michael Vick - Vick because all round he offer more and doesnt wilt when going gets tough
Eli Manning - Manning, no questions asked
    RG3 - Griffin easily

Peyton Manning - - dont even need to ask this question
Philip Rivers - Rivers for sure
Matt Cassel - Sanchez. Cassel is also another Sanchez
Carson Palmer - Palmer, knows what he is doing out there, he's in control and gets it

Matt Schaub - Schaub all day
Jake Locker - Locker because his ceiling is also higher
Andrew Luck - Luck, 4 games in and already can tell he is better than Mark
Blaine Gabbert - Probably Sanchez. Gabbert looks jsut like another Sanchez.

Alex Smith - Mark Sanchez, the devil you know. Smith is limited, needs a great situation to succedd, just like Mark.
Russell Wilson - Sanchez, I think Wilson is overrated, living off a D and a running game like Mark did early on.
Kevin Kolb - I'd keep Sanchez, Kold hasn't shown enough.
    Sam Bradford - Bradford easy

I think he can handle it mentally Monday to saturday and all day Sunday before the ball is snapped. Once the bullets start flying, if he has a clean pocket, his game is above avergae but he still isn;t all that accurate and still makes questionable decisions.

As soon as things get sloppy and he is under pressure or in a lot of third and longs, it all goes out the window and he struggles mightily. Then he goes to the siddeline, understands what went wrong and what he needs to do to correct it. I fully believe he gets that. But when he gets back out there, he is not able to execute it.

You're talking out of your ass if you think TJ Yates is better than Sanchez.

While we make excuses for Sanchez, we have to know that an accurate QB would make the players surrounding him better! A real competant QB would get rid of the ball quickly and accurately the OL looks better! If a real QB can throw the ball deep accurately, it will open up the middle of the field for the run game. Suddenly the OL and the run game will be better! Now imagine if our mythical QB was able to get rid of the ball quickly and accurately while under pressure, I dare say the receiving group we currently have would get better too!

but its not all on Sanchez!
