Well it looks like were gonna have to sign a couple more of these scrubs as you call them. Neither Hill or Keller practised today. We might as well add Keller to the list of out for the season too.
i for one.. am excited to see what we have in hill. it felt like the past couple weeks that sanchez was really intent on getting the ball to holmes. i'm not knocking him for that.. but with holmes out, i think i'd rather see sanchez make hill his favorite target, throw at him 15 times a game and see what's what. braylon is not going to save our season. no wide receiver we're going to pick up right now is going to make a huge difference. yeah, it sucks that we have like 2 healthy receivers.. but i see more downside in the "name" guys than there is upside. they're not going to be here next year. so let's go with the guy who will be a part of our plans for a while.
He burned his bridges trying to get big money out of the Jets and if there is anything you should have learned by now about Tannenbaum it's that if you try to get more money than he wants to pay you he will ban you for life..just look at Jones, Washington and Kendall for starters..I'm sure you can add Edwards to that list now.
How about ...................... Jeremy Shockey...................... It's a mad house already so why not?
Seriously... if Tannenbaum and the idiot scouts we have on payroll will be back next season, we're obviously not doing anything with those late rounders. I'd give up a sixth and a seventh.
Anythings possible, Management thinks Hill is gonna come in and be the number 1 reciver lol. Wow what a joke, if the guy had any kind of real talent he wouldn't be a free agent during week 5 but now he ends up our number 1target according to Rex???? what a joke
Braylon probably just isn't the same after the knee injury. I just wish we signed him initially. I don't know if he's worth it now. He does have chemistry with Sanchez, which is a plus. In retrospect that was a big Tanny blunder. Poor Sanchez. He's dealing with a raw, inexperienced receiving core. I'm pretty sure Jason Hill is now the most experienced receiver we have on the team.
How exactly did you nail anything? You made a suggestion. The same suggestion that half the world was making. And you made it like 3 months ago.
Half the world? Look at this thread I made 3 months ago...I would say the majority was against it. Now when everyone realizes our depth at WR is for shit, people jump on board the Edwards train...
Of the Jets receivers the past many weeks only one caught a TD before this season. And none this year either............
With no Hill and no Keller, we needed this badly. Having existing chemistry with Sanchez is a plus and at the very worst, Edwards will out perform Gates and maybe even Schillens. If it doesn't work out, no big loss, if it does, huge gain. Edwards & Schillens on the outside, Kerley in the slot, Gates as the random down receiver. This could be nice. Don't forget Edwards can block well, also, which could come in handy with the run. Ground and Pound is not going anywhere at this point.
Lol what. You didn't call anything. Not only is it real late after the thread started and we didn't give up a pick for him. A ton of people brought up bringing back Braylon since last year. If you said the Seahawks would eventually cut Braylon and we would pick him up then maybe I'd be impressed.
