I wish it was. Unfortunately, it seems there's no consequences for fools to start threads around catchy headlines with fake news. Thread creator is obviously a troll or somebody who should go back to school and work on his/her reading comprehension.
We all did because he never said it..he didn't even hint at it, all he said was that "would be a question asked more frequently" if Sanchez continues to play like shit. But who would open a thread that said that?
It must have just killed Cimini to write this but even he says in the article: "Don't underestimate Johnson's role in this. Two people who know Johnson, and know how he runs his football operation, believe he will push his football people to start Tebow. Let's be clear: There's no evidence to suggest this is happening, but only a naïve person would think this owner won't get involved if the product on the field continues to disappoint."
So the article clearing says that there is no intention of starting Tebow right now, yet the OP posts that Johnson said to "start TEBOW NOW"? Wow. Makes all kinds of sense now
The article's damning enough without inventing a quote in the thread title that was never said anywhere in the article. Yes, we know Woody loves Tebow and he did have that CONFIRMED quote a while back about 'There's no such thing as too much Tebow', there's enough empirical evidence to suggest that he's going to strongly influence a QB switch but let's not put the cart before the horse. Inventing fake quotes is worse than what we get on the newspapers for doing (taking quotes out of context).
Jerry Jones part 2, I hope not, and if the Jets do bring in Tebow, I will dedicate my Sundays to the local fair and fresh markets with my wife.
