I don't think this team even has a tough nose mentality to maintain anymore. We're one of the softest teams in the league. It's why we get pushed around all over the field, and why we can't tackle. Add a new strength coach to the list of other problems we need to address.

Exactly, there is no team in the league the least bit nervous about playing the Jets. If we ever had a hard hitting attitude and tough nose mentality it's long gone. This team is basically a joke at this point.

All this team really needs is a qb that can make a play.
A qb that get angry when the jets lose.

Would be the best move the Jets have made since ...

    Ever.

Problem is, Bill probably still doesn't want to coach.

    Maybe Gruden?

Are you serious?? Bill Cowher?? The man lost so many AFC championship games that PITT was favored in, because he decided to crawl into a shell. And his is only superbowl, was assisted with some really bad officiating. Just my opinion.

No coach has every won a Super Bowl with two different teams. I still think Rex is the guy but if there was a whole sale cleaning I'd rather go get a guy like the Bronco's O-coordinator than bring in someone like Cowher or Gruden.

Rex is absolutely the man for the job.

The problem is that outside of Revis and Holmes, he doesn't have any good players.

Bill Cowher the coach would not fix what ails the Jets. Why do people think Bill Cowher the GM would be able to fix things?

Woody needs to blow up the culture that he has created around the Jets. If he wants to keep cycling between not quite good enough and bad then he can keep doing the things he's been doing and get the same results.

That's going to be very expensive for him though. If he stops throwing cash at the team then it will be less expensive but the Jets are going to suck. Badly.

    Rex is a great coordinator.
    Rex is a great personality.
    Rex is a great friend.

Rex is not a great coach.
Rex is not a great leader.

I thought that it wouldn't be the SOJ but it really has become that.
The defense sucks. The offense sucks.
