Would anyone else like to see us go back to a 4-3? 3-4 seemed to make more sense when we had a dominant Nose (Jenkins) and LB's were one of the strengths of the Defense.

I gotta think that Matt Flynn knowing everything there is to know about the GB offense had something to do with it.

?? what do u mean. no bust talk from me about coples. we are in sore need of a speed guy on the edge. coples is an inside guy and thats where he will be most effective. the one constant about a top defense is that they have that guy who can disrupt and create havoc on the corner. coples is not that guy but thats OK. he is a good player and it was a good pick under the circumstances.

i posted this thread because of the irony of the whole thing with the hawks taking irvin out from under the jets noses.

Coples needs to be on the field more before anyone can evaluate or compare him.

Now, if he's not on the field because he's dogging it in practice, well that's a different story.

Feel the same way myself. Trading up is so damn expensive that you can never assume your team can pull it off successfully. I'm happy that the guy is proving so many doubters wrong in Seattle. Media was way to harsh & seemed to have their opinions made before he even got a chance.

JETS FANS: It is way too early to call Coples a bad pick. He was drafted to play on DL that already has talent & he needs to compete for playing time. One year of seasoning & more playing time should be making everyone feel better about Coples pick.

Coples lines up inside and outside. The Jets have shown a lot of 3 - 4 fronts which changes his role. If the Jets goto a 4 - 3 which they very well may, to generate pressure from the front 4 after losing Revis, he will be our Bruce.

Maybe Coples would have a sack if these twits would give him a chance to play

Why are we playing a 4-3 with terrible linebackers? LOL
