I saw that too. That's a good sign isn't it? Would he be walking and dragging his luggage himself if his ACL was torn?

I would rather be facing Alex Smith without Revis than Tom Brady without Revis. Who knows, maybe he'll only be out a week or two? Guess we'll wait and see what the team docs say.

I wonder if he is gonna see Dr.james andrews.Herd all the players go to him.The guy is a miracle worker.Or maybe woody invested in stem cell research and has a revis clone ready to go.Just trying to laugh off this disaster we encountered today.

Doesn't mean as much as you would hope. If you tear your ACL you don't necessarily have pain, just instability. I've had several friends tear their ACLs playing ball, and walk around without crutches both immediately afterwards and in the days prior to their surgery.

What sucks is he may not ever be the same after this injury. Let's hope it's not serious..

It is a meaningless sign. you can walk and run on a torn acl.

Dont you people remember Kris Jenkins walking off in the first game of the season against the Ravens when he had a torn MCL and ACL?

Walking off the field, yes. Walking to the bus with luggage? I feel like if they thought this was a serious injury, someone would have assisted Revis in carrying his luggage to the team bus.

I tore my acl and could walk around afterwards.

With acl's they have a pretty good idea about it without an mri. The mri is more just to confirm. If they suspect it's an acl, it probably is.

I'll hope for the best until we know for sure, but everything about it looks bad. The fact that he was in a lot of pain in a non contact play like that. How dejected he looked. The fact that the Jets think it might be an acl. And just the play itself. Doesn't look good.

If it's an ACL the Jets probably won't have to worry about a holdout next year.

I had a buddy who had an ACL tear, and an Achilles tear playing high school hockey. He said the ACL felt like a bruise; and the Achilles felt like he'd been stabbed with broken glass.

If his ACL is torn, that's a gigantic loss and probably ends out season much earlier then we would have hoped.

    Let's pray with Timmy.

exactly same for me. if you're a weekend warrior (like me) who play sports a few days a week, at most, you can tear an acl and go about your business. I went a few weeks afterwards before I finally got an MRI. The way he fell with a non-contact injury makes me think he's done for the year. Fingers are crossed, but I'm expecting the worst.

Pump the brakes. We haven't been given a definitive on the injury yet.

CB is an over-rated position anyways.

Two of the worst secondaries in the leauge made the Superbowl last year.

Clownshoes Rex and Tanny will use this as an excuse though.

It's just fucked up that that could have been his last game as a Jet.

Now I hate Kyle Wilson even more for some reason.

Hopefully this drops his asking price?

EDIT: But if he's out for the season and we cant win we should go into full rebuild mode and trade Revis for whatever we can.

None of us know anything at this point. That said, I'm optimistic that it's not a blown ACL because it didn't look like his knee joint locked then buckled backwards.

Further, his leg wasn't fully planted (he pulled his foot up off the ground as he was being body blocked). I'm hoping a mild MCL sprain at worst.
