we could make the Fins look worst than last years Jaguars beat down. Of course every team has a chance, a shot at winning but its safe to say the JETS have this one in the bag.
you make it sound as if every member of the JETS was born in Alaska and that they never had to deal with such heat and humidity. The players will be fine as they have played and practiced in "heated" games throughout their careers before.
There's more than just Bush & Hartline to defend in our offense fellas! D.Bess WR, Fasano TE, Lane FB will all have their way with you punks gasping for air late in the 3rd sweltering in the heat. You should worry that our Rook has better accurracy than Chez and the confidence to pick your secondary apart. Now back in the 43 we'll have Wake, Solai & Starks chasing your chicano QB in fear of his life. Ooh and I can't wait to see Tebow get carted off after a failed Wildcat. Butthead Bell and Bevis coming off a headache cant cover everyone. Our defense will have no ploblem shutting you phags down, and w/no Keller to bail you out, I dont see you guys scoring anything other than the Sporano Special >>>>The long 3. Take this to Vegas 17-6 PHINS baby....
I'm slowly losing confidence in the Jets. If we get owned by Dolphins today it clear we are not "who we thought we were."
Alright, I just watched the condensed Dolphins-Raiders game, and the Raiders looked absolutely pathetic, and it starts with Carson Palmer. I have to admit that I haven't seen much of the Raiders since the Palmer trade, actually had to look up their roster to make sure Palmer was #3, because he looked so bad. Even when he had a clean pocket, he was throwing the ball either 2 feet too high to catch or at the receiver's shoelaces, and he panicked every time they ran a screen play. And his receivers were OPEN. Reggie Bush made that game for the Phins. The new zone blocking scheme their fans keep bragging about appears to be still in the learning stages and wasn't much of a plus for their running game. Bush did most of his creating in the backfield when he saw no holes and had to adjust on the fly, or if it was a designed outside run. But damn, he is so good now. We're going to give up a few longs runs to Reggie. As far as the Phins' defense, they did what the Bills did to us and sold out for the run, and Palmer obliged them by throwing terrible passes for most of the day. The have solid run support but their man coverage in the defensive backfield simply sucks. Tannehill is an interesting player. He's got absolutely terrible footwork when dropping back in a clean pocket, and throws bad passes that way. But he actually seems far more comfortable throwing on the run, and made some excellent passes when either under pressure or rolling out off of a play-action. I was actually a little nervous about the Dolphins before I watched this game. I think the Jets will handle them well now. It's a good matchup, aside from Reggie Bush.
Palmer has been beyond dreadful in every game he's played for Oakland, but gets hugely forgiving coverage. I guess he must have a lot of friends in the media.
Today is gonna be Tebow's coming out party as a NY Jet !!! Shut down bush and put tannehill on the carpet. JETS ALL DAY LONG !!!
Sounds about right. All week I've been telling people I don't know what to take away from the game as far as the Phins are concerned because the Raiders are probably the worst team in the league. Palmer was terrible
As far as the heat in Miami, if anyone attended practice in Cortland this summer, you have to say we've had a VERY hot summer here in NY. 90+ degree days were common almost the entire summer. We topped 100 twice during training camp. On several trips to Cortland this summer I remember thinking "How the hell do these guys run around in this heat?". I think we'll be OK in Miami today. Jets 21 Tebow 7 Fish 3
I'm guessing you just got home from the bar when you posted this. Beating one of the worst teams in the league last week has surely boosted the confidence of some of the fins posters but has done nothing to boost the IQ level. Tannehill, the QB with 1 TD and 3 INT's in his entire 2 game NFL career is going to pick apart the secondary? Jets win by at least 2 TD's.
I am usually pessimistic but have to say that I can see a pretty comfortable win today. Ive been critical of Sanchez but he hasn't really made any mistakes which I think the rook on the other side will provide today. Expect that to be the winning factor, especially as some moron said on here earlier inthe thread: he has the confidence to pick the jets secondary apart. There is only one qb in aft east that does that and he is not a Finn.
