Signed CB Donnie Fletcher from the practice squad to replace him.

I wonder if this could be one of those we'll re-sign you next week deals. The timing seems odd.

Strange. So we missed him and it hurt, but he's cut and replaced with a CB. I suppose they are already realizing they need guys that can cover over LBs, but we still need pass rushers. Pace Maybin and McIntire FTW?

Wow, this is shocking, but your right. A year too late. It's been fun, maybe they'll resign later in the year when he's back to health.

I guess they liked what they saw from Garrett McIntyre... still little surprising though....

I'm guessing they really liked how that McIntyre kid played.

The guy we took instead of Ed Reed. He never lived up to his draft spot but was a solid player under three different coaching staffs playing DE, DT, and OLB. Best of luck to him, he could always be brought back.

He's hurt. He probably wasn't playing this week anyway. My guess is Lankster is probably hurt worse and maybe will be inactive tomorrow.

    I bet he's back once he's better

And yet Shonn Greene is still our starting RB and Holmes is our #1 WR. Not to mention our WWF LB Scott. Wow.

BT was very good in 2010, then was hurt last year. If he's a marginal player who isn't healthy enough to play, it makes more sense to cut him than some other players. The Jets have a number of nagging injuries.

Still surprised Landolt is on the active roster and not IR'd, but maybe they still have plans for him.

BT's contract is guaranteed, and the Jets need a corner with Lankster out (don't trust Trufant), so it makes sense, figuring you can bring him back.

I'm bummed by this news, but it's probably the right thing to do. Especially with McIntyre playing so well.
