I was offered DMC for Vernon Davis. If accepted, my RB situation would be Rice, R.Bush and DMC, leaving me to pick up a TE in waivers.

    Should I do it?

Davis had a big day. It's tough to get a TE with his level of consistency.

With that said, a TE not named Gronk for DMC is a steal.

However, your RB situation is already pretty good. Do you think you would get more points with DMC and a second or third tier TE?

Do it and laugh your way to the bank. If CJ was a no brainer in my other thread, this is even more of one

The reason why I think it would make sense is because my lineup is going to look like this pretty much every week.

    QB: Alex Smith
    WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Calvin Johnson (traded away Vick, AP and Torrey Smith to get)
    RB: Ray Rice
RB: Reggie Bush (acquired also in the trade mentioned above)
TE: Can probably acquire Tamme for cheap and already have Bennett from the Giants on waiver pickup.
    FLEX: Darren McFadden.

I'm sacrificing TE quality but possibly gaining more points in a position where I originally had Demariyus Thomas (could use as trade bait or just have him on my bench).

I'm thinking of pulling this trade off tomorrow morning when waivers go through.
