I was watching it on NFL Network this morning. As an aside, you people who don't get the Network as part of your basic cable package should be calling your cable carriers daily. Anyway, for those who have seen how they've been doing these broadcasts, they switch broadcast teams at halftime. So, with Archie Manning doing color commentary for the Saints broadcast, I listened to a full half of Peyton Manning and Colts talk, and then when the Colts broadcast team took over, I got to listen to another full half of Colts ball-washing.

Fortunately all that Colts talk was broken up by half a dozen Peyton Manning commercials. And, I was pleased to see that Peyton was actually hatched from an egg. Until now, I thought he was produced by some sort of divine intervention.

I watched that too. It was a complete pro-Manning broadcast. The only thing that was missing was a tribute to Eli Manning. So what that Eli didn't play in this game (busy up north with the Jets). From watching this game, Peyton didn't look like he was playing either.

Peyton does too many commercials. He's the Boomer Esiason of the 2000's.
