They were probably goofing in the pre-season, now it is out of line and disrespectful. Say what you will but it is a little out of hand with Tebow already.
Why does the media continue to place so much disproportinate attention on this guy? Why, because he's a nice guy and a Christian? There are plenty of guys in public life who are like that and are likely more significant in their line of work than Tebow is. Tebow is nothing more than a backup quarterback and wild card specialist. He does not warrant all of this intense focus and scrutiny.
For morons like Skip Bayless to do this sort of thing is one thing, but for the league itself to do it (or someone on their own web site to do it) is idiotically unprofessional. Johnson and Tannenbaum should privately express their outrage to Goodell about this and demand that it stop immediately. Ryan should say nothing to the media, but should point it out to people like Sanchez, Greene, Mangold, Revis, Harris, etc.
Yea at this point it is disrespectful. Like our whole team is Tebow. I saw it week 1 of preseason and thought it was to be expected. Now its just ridiculous.
I am a Tebow fans but I can't imagine any legitimate news source or even blog referring to a team by one players name. I can only believe it is to stir up negative sentiments one way or another. I actually thought the page referenced in preseason must have been hacked. But maybe not....
Yeah, kind of enough is enough sort of thing. It's not funny if the team isn't a disaster/not really even using him much.
You guys sound like a bunch of whiny bitches. Who cares about power rankings and why care that the guy handing them out labels the jets "tebow". He is one of the few that admits to being wrong about the jets offense and the bills defense post free agency/preseason. Let the media focus on everything but our play on the feild as long as we keep winning game I'm happy as hell.
It was funny for week 1 maybe, but to keep it there for week 2 after Sanchez dominated and Tebow pretty much did nothing? I don't get it. There's not even comedic value any more.
Not that it bothers me, because NFLN has virtually turned into a cartoon program, but this the the NFL's own website doing it. It's not the same as the Post doing clown cartoons on their front page. It's not just that blanket description of 'the media' in this case.
Nflnw is a media outlet. They just want ratings and if putting the jets down brings viewers, they will do it. Let's face it, the average jet fan is likely to click on and react to a negative article and skip an informative one.
