I have really had some fun posting on this board the past year, adding insight and sometimes butting heads with some of you. But I really cant take this shit anymore, the board has really changed. After each loss or when something doesnt go our way 85% of you guys bitch and bitch. The problem is that not 1 of you has the balls to give your insight on how to fix the problem. So is it a society? Is it you guys have crumbled under the stress of being a Jets fan (it really is stressfull)? Do you guys hate your life? Whatever it is it needs to stop, I love opnions but this "I wish coles got hurt or Penny sux or lets tank this year and get a high pick....shit has to stop WAKE up its going to take a while to fix. But in todays NFL, if a team stays health and wins the pluse minius game, they WILL always be in the hunt for a playoff spot. Wishing you all the best and at the verry least; pop a prozak or two before you turn the computer on.

Hehe, get used to it. It's like this every year. And it'll only get worse when the games matter. Every game incites an extreme reaction, either negatively or positively. You come to just drown it out eventually.
It's like this every year. It does get frustrating and annoying ... Just keep posting your thoughts. When you read a ton of realistic real world thoughts they are a big help in times like this

Not trying to attack you, you have your opinion whatever but I mean if one thread can have you flip out like this and call someone an asshole then you need to chill out. Its just an opinion albeit I agree a rediculous one yet theres no need to flip out about it if you don't agree just post why you don't agree or IGNORE it.The thing that had me a little miffed with this site, and why I hadn't posted in a while until recently, is everyone on this board thinks their opinion is the end all and be all and that every1 else is wrong, and it pisses me off when I post something viable and get dismissed by some moron that might have 234345345 posts to my 1-something but already hes right and im wrong? And yes your right there are stupid posts that are made but theres really no need to flip out over it, just move on.

I see your point and agree...I love to hear others opnions but how can some people type some things in one thread and contradict themselfs in another (happens all the time). This is a fourm to have a voice, an opnion, but be consistant and understand that we are fans of a business. Really, this is a business and Woody is our owner (CEO) Mangini is our coach (VP of Operations) and so on..... We can decide to support another team (buy other stock and sell the Jets) But I still support the team (company) and will continue to invest in them. I know it goes against all logic, but thats why the NFL is so sucessfull...Lets be logical about or critisims

I think venting is healthy....backing up complaints with cogent facts coupled with suggestions to deal with the problem would probably be best tho...Im new to this room and there IS a lot of unjustified complainting at this point of the NFL year...I'm of the mind that this will take a little time(how about 2-3 years) and patience( an emotion seldom felt by this long suffering franchises fans) is obviously in order as the next regime institutes its mindset and chooses and trains its talent
The fact is boys, we're Jet fans. Pessimism is what comes with it. However, I agree with Rochester and others that say the gloom and doom on this site is nuts. There are positives, the defense looks organized and in good shape, and as far as all the penalties on the offensive line, one must understand this line is going to take time to gel especially with the new youngsters and imports such as Clement. This is not a playoff team, those expectations need to be disregarded immediately but its not unreasonable with the schedule and just the team itself to expect 6-10. This team is two games better then the futile bunch we put out last year.
Man I thought it was just me. I joined a while back but this board is so negative and whiney for some reason. We are gonna go through growing pains but I think we still have enough talent to suprise some teams this year.
Then leave....you know what I get sick of? The guys that post threads about how they are sick of the site.
I can't help but laugh at most of the posts now. If some of the responses we've seen on this board are indicative of how the posters actually deal with a real life crisis and stress, I feel very, very bad for them. In the grand scheme of things during your life, who wins and who loses a meaningless pre-season football game, or even the big game, shouldn't really matter all that much. Just laugh and move on until the games actually count.
I actually prefer the site in the offseason b/c during the actual season, you see some pathetic displays of major bi-polar disorder, when actual games are being played. The fact that people should KNOW this year is a rebuilding year..and they are STILL acting so ridiculous after a preseason game...says it all.
i agree to a certain extent... but there are a few certain posters who offer logical, correct and unbiased opinions as well as a bit of humor. Mate when ya get angry just go to the bs forum
I think it's a message board phenomenon. I'm on various boards of my favorite sports teams and the only ones that are "happy" boards are the ones of the winning teams (and even then, there is quite a bit of bitching about the way the particular team wins). Give a visit to just about any sports message board it will be nothing but a bitch fest. You just have to enjoy the good times, enjoy the intelligent posts / discussions with the fans, and don't get too caught up in the bitch fests.
I've been here longer than alot of these people who think they own the place, and I honestly never post here because it's so negative. Every once in awhile I come by and read the topic headlines, and of course all of the topics are titled so pretenciously that I then just click the back button and go somewhere else. I especially love how alot of people comment on what they see other teams (Pats) do by using hindsight (and trying to say this is how the Jets should be run), make statements of how players should get injured, type in a narcissistic manner, etc.... I truely think some of these people posting are pissed off 19 year olds with no social life.
