Did Sanchez implode? Are the Jets destroyed because of Tebow trade? Of course not. I was going to pull up old post of the multitude of forum members that predicted utter annihilation of the Jets simply because Tebow was traded to New York ( the ones directed at me as I stated this would make Sanchez better than ever and focus him to be the best QB he could be ) but it would require a full time staff of 12 people with great organizational skills to pull it off. How about you man up early and post here and admit that all the predictions of doom and gloom were WAY over rated.
Pffft. Get over it. We know they were wrong/trolling/over-reacting w/e. No need to throw a pity party for them~
No rational person should have thought that our talent was subtracted by adding a player, whether that player is Tim Tebow or not. The same people who used to bellyache about Sanchez having no threat of a back-up were concerned that he wouldn't be able to handle the pressure of having Tebow at back-up. You can't deal with that kind of irrationality, and those type of people aren't going to come here and apologize after the fact either. That being said, what part Tebow played in Sanchez' performance is hard to say. It could have been a factor, but we also have A.) 1 more year of experience for Sanchez B.) A new offensive coordinator who called a heck of a game C.) A wr corps that looked way better than it did last year. And all that aside, we don't even know yet if Sanchez' performance will continue. This of course is to your point that you predicted that Tebow would make Sanchez better, which may not be your focus in this thread.
