24-14 Jets. Bills will score a garbage TD. I just don't see the Bills as a big threat. Revis has had this game circled on his calendar since Stevie caught that bs 5 yard slant and supposedly "owned" him. I would be surprised if he eclipses 20 yards for the game. Their running game can be shut down with or without Pouha. I believe our OL can hold the fort against their DL. Run the ball at Mario and get him to slow down.
Will be in attendance, can't wait for this game. Bills keep it close in the first half but Jets finally turn it on in 3rd quarter. 24-13 Jets Bills fans go home early.
There will be plays during the game where the Bill's wildcat is more effective than ours. The Bills QB coach (name?) brought the WC to Miami, and Brad Smith ran it better than any one for the Jets. They HAVE to feel VERY disrespected for Rex/Tebow getting all the WC glory when we haven't even ran a single WC play. Look for the Bills to TRY and run the WC down our throats just to shut us up. Can't blame them really. We'll see. Last, if Howard can keep Mark upright against Mario "highest payed defensive player in the history of the NFL" Williams then we will see an explosion of optimism for the Jets season from all the nay-sayers at ESPN and Cimini. CAN'T (fucking) WAIT!!!!!
Really? Last year Brad Smith had 1 throwing attempt... which resulted in an INT and a whopping 87 rushing yards TOTAL for the season. I loved when Brad Smith was a Jet but lets be honest, him throwing the ball against our defense is going to be like XMas, Kwanza and Hanukkah all rolled into one.
Jets 24-13 but since nobody has seen either team really any prediction is just being pulled out of the air.
Not sure if ur serious but even I doubt that would happen. and if by chance it did, these boards would be as bipolar as ever.
First offensive series of the game... Jets take the field... Is Sanchez 100% under center for the first play of the game or will Rex and Tony try and get cute and put Tebow and the Christcat in effect to kick off the 2012 season?
I don't think the Jets win this one. If they do, it'll be from defensive scoring. Buffalo is always a tough place for the Jets to win, for starters. I've seen the Jets stroll in there thinking of an easy win against an inferior team, and come out limping and nadless. Of course, they have marched into the Ralph and won when they had no business winning. Secondly, the Jets offense is clearly a work in progress, and still in the early stages of that progress. I have seen nothing thus far to indicate that we will be able to run the ball effectively, and without that, the passing game will suffer even further. Points for this offense will be tough for the first few games, possibly longer. So I see this one coming down to the effectiveness of our defense against the Bills running game. If we win that battle, then we have an excellent shot at winning.
Not getting defensive at all. Just pointing out that preseason is rather meaningless in terms of evaluating how teams perform in the regular season. The first team D has shown plenty of signs of being good, but without having a gameplan for those games, it doesn't really mean much.
