No thats a serious problem that is not what I'm talking about. We cut both 7th rounders and 2 6th rounders. 7th rounders is not a real big deal though. Might as well be UDFAs.
Whats reality? Rex is the best coach this team has had since Parcells. Also top 3 best defensive coaches in all of football maybe #1.
Yea he's the only one of the cuts Im disappointed about. Bush has played better but I thought Allen has shown some promise and it would be nice to be grooming young safeties. Is there a chance Allen could go to the practice squad?
We cut 6th and 7th rounders(Besides Bush).... In hindsight, I wanted to draft a punter with one of those picks as I still don't care for Conley but its not a big deal. This isn't Anthony Schegel bad. I did like Allen but since he dropped so far in the draft, I do hope he latches onto our PS. He has a lot of work to do in coverage but he's a nice run stopper. Bush I guess just outplayed him for that safety spot.
Mambo, you kinda follow the draft, you know that many 6th and 7th rounders never see an NFL roster even on thier draft year. We cut two 6th and two 7th rounders. Its not as if we let a 3rd or 4th round pick go after one preseason. Quit acting so fucking melodramatic about this.
I'm not being melodramatic (internet isn't great at conveying tone I guess). It just strikes me that these guys we drafted are not even good enough to be kept on the roster (which still wouldn't guarantee they would make an impact in their NFL careers). I mean, I'm guessing we drafted them for some reason... did they do so poorly to not even warrant a bit more than three months to actually see if they can develop into what we first thought of them? All 4 of them?
It's hard to save face with the scouting department here... You cut a low pick, maybe two, you can spin that. You cut four draft picks before the season even starts, somebody needs to get their ass fired. And no, I'm not talking about Tanny, but he is not absolved of responsibility, even if he isn't a personnel guy. Terry fucking Bradway does need to be burned alive and decapitated, though. He is like one of those horror movie bad guys that just never go away.
Seems so... I notice we still have no blocking TE as the guy we claimed is more of a pass catching TE. I have to wonder if something will be done, maybe via trade? I wonder if the Clinkscales should-I-stay-or-should-I-go drama played a part...
