Ya there was a 150 Yards rushing in the first half alone and we were a couple plays to a come back win to the super bowl towards the end. Ya we fucking remember. That a dumb question

BUT IT WAS A DAMN GOOD GAME!! I don't think I remember ever being on the edge of my seat like that. If Big Ben doesn't make that last throw and they are forced to punt. I had no doubt Sanchez would have led us down the field for a TD again.

Seriously. It was one of those feelings you almost never get as a Jet fan. You knew the Steelers didn't want him to touch the ball again.

Dead on. I would have rather they punt the ball and then the Jets fail to score and lose the game than to be left with that feeling....the worst way for that game to end.

Was it? It seemed the OP was trying to suggest that Bart didn't go on a "Can't wait!" rant only to have the defense come out totally flat in the first half and let Pittsburg run all over us the following week.

And a "couple plays"? We would have gotten the ball inside our own 20 with 1.5 minutes and no timeouts...

    ...............................................................

When comes to any of the other 31 teams, a close games equates to a good game for me too. But with the Jets, a loss, especially in the AFCCG, is not a good game regardless of the score or excitement.

You must not have watched the jets that season....that was definitely the theme of the season, under 2 minutes no way to win, and somehow Sanchez found a way to do it.

    Are you a troll?

The controlled anger is on full display. The Jet flying and landing safely was symbolic of the game, it was the Pats jet that crashed that day.

On a side note regarding the Steelers I also felt Sanchez and the O were def going all the way. Unfortunately Ben made a good play. What happened to that confidence we had in Mark?

I still believe in Mark and the team.

Of course we do. The hit from behind and the returned fumble for a TD and the end of the first half was a huge difference in the game. I am still salty over that play. Just punt the ball and head into the locker room.
Defense shut them out in the second half but alas it was just not good enough to overcome the hole they had dug.

That season had Denver, Detroit, Cleveland, Houston. Also had a big win in Pitt. The Joe McKnight and co destroying the Bills. The Braylon dougie.
