Tim's throwing problems are as has been stated, learning a new style. It's called muscle memory. Tim has a lot of skill tools that he learned over the years and his timing was a lot better in college not because of the caliber of his opponents but because of muscle memory (the SEC is and has been a very strong conference). He could just react and complete the play. When the NFL BOO Birds showed up at the end of his college days and raked him over the coals for his throwing style he tried to correct. It detracted from his instincts and then he had to think about his thowing which was messing up his timing. It will take time to get it all down but if you watched his games last year when he was scoring, you would have noticed that he reverted back to his college throwing style. He was relying on his instincts and his muscle memory kicked in during those drives.
Reread and rethink what you write, and maybe your insanity will fade. No touchdown led drives isn't the same as no td passes, it means none of his drives throughout the entire preseason ended in touchdowns, by runs or passes, not just that he hasn't thrown any td's. So you are wrong about that which is easily discernible from the wording of your post. All I said is that kind of prodution isn't good, which it isn't. Whether there were 3 other qb's in the last 35 years with similiar preseason lack of production doesn't matter, it does nothing to change the fact that it isn't good. Your sanity will be hard to grasp if you spend time where you don't belong, this is the Tebowmania forum.
Y'all have to admit that the swinging door of a right tackle didn't help any of the QB stats during pre-season. At least a right handed QB could see the sack coming.
Ok angry young grasshopper. The stat or whatever that was trying to be referenced as a slight to Sanchez was - NO TEAM HAS FAILED TO RECORD A TD IN ITS FIRST 3 PRESEASON GAMES YADA YADA. That attempt at reference/slight on Sanchez was a complete fail and backfire. Someone responded with a valid response to the stated incorrect stats/stupid statement and you stupidly jumped on that response with insults to boot. I merely laugh at all the vitrol. Now, since you like vitrol, I will explain it all... apparently no TEAM has failed to score a TD in its first 3 preseason games in like 35 years or whatever. Not no starter. Not no thrown TD vs TD led drive by starter. No team. So Tebow is just as much at fault here as Sanchez or whatever... so your angry response was funny to me. Using an inappropriate metaphor that is "a huge stretch" is stupid. To equate anything football related to an event that killed 11 million people is dumb. The point, which obviously flew over your head, is that preseason TD's don't mean shit. They never have, the media just pays way more attention to preseason now.
I hope so , I am pulling for the Jets because of Tim, even if he sits the bench 99% of the time. I don't want the Jets losing.
It also doesn't mean the offense won't suck. It just doesn't mean anything either way. I think we'll be seeing a good chunk of tebow regardless.
You want to think that because you want to think that's why I say Tebow is a terrible QB. All you have to do is watch. The stats in preseason mean nothing.
