Steelers just cut him...he's on the older side but with baker and cumberland out right now and no real blocking TE this could be a good sign....what do you guys think?
yea not to mention this guy is a blocking TE something we dont have...Keller should be fine although i cant wait for the details, but this would be a good option to bring in imo..
I'm ALL for bringing in a TE and the Baker injury opens the door to the opportunity to bring in a blocker which we really need. I'd like to see who else gets cut loose but would be very happy if he ends up on this team.
Has anyone heard, yet, how bad the injuries are to the TE's? Is Keller thought to be more than a couple weeks...etc...??
well, the jets just waived Josh Baker, so the door is currently open. The Jets will likely put him on IR if he clears waivers.
That's a relief! Still...I'm thinking we pick up someone as cuts go down. We'll have to keep our eyes open.
It's looking pretty likely with Josh Baker having just been waived. I doubt they feel they should carry Epps or the Aussy on the active roster.
